Just rushed from work to get to the store it was meant to shut at 7pm I got there at 6:50 pm to which I was waved away from the shop terrible service should be open until closing time never use them again

The store smells probably because of all the second hand stuff and everything is over priced anyway regardless of if its new or secondhand

KNOW YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS BEFORE ENTERING THIS STORE! Purchased a steam controller 4 days ago, opened the box checked contents and decided i had made the wrong choice and wanted to exchange for an XBOX controller. Went back to the store today to ask for a exchange and the customer assistant replied that the seal has been broken and cannot be exchanged or refunded. I had to remind him of the GAME return policy which he replied "the online return policy isn't the same as the in store policy". He then said I could trade in the the controller for £14 after I had spent £40 4 days before. I then called the customer service team which were much more helpful and explained I indeed could exchange or get a refund for the controller and well within my rights to do so. I returned back to the store and asked him to call this customer service team to remind him of my consumer rights. He went into the back of the store for 30 seconds and blatantly did nothing, then returned and gave me a refund. I wanted to exchange for another controller and would of paid more for the Xbox Controller but instead they lost my business. Walked 30 seconds down the shopping centre and purchased from Curry's. I didn't receive an apology and instead was given bad looks like i was a criminal. This is by all means not a complaint with the customer services on the phone that were very helpful and reminded me of my rights and the return policy. Staff training needed within this store. HARDWARE CAN BE RETURNED EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN OPENED AND INSPECTED WITHIN 30 DAYS! AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
