Great coffee and even better the Spinach Ricotta Roll!!! The roll was so good I even waited for a new hot from the oven one!!!  Great service!!! The best way to start the day, week and finish my trip to London!!!

This is my local Gail's in Hackney and I was meeting with my epic friend Ben AKA Prince Battenburg. We had a lovely long chat in the backroom which has an outdoor courtyard vibeFood: 5/5

I was looking for some local bakery stores around my neighbourhood area. I went a bit further from Stratford cross Victoria Park and came to this cafe. It has lots of homemade bread. I didn’t really read any reviews and went for what I saw in the shop. The sausage roll seemed to be freshly baked as I could see it was displayed from the tray. I ordered that and the cinnamon roll which looks really beautiful. I was very impressed with the sausage roll. I just realise people were commenting how good the sausage roll and they are brilliant!! It was warm and meat was so juicy with crispy pastry. The cinnamon roll was divine! This is an absolutely a brilliant cafe for takeaway and if you want some fresh bakery. I will definitely come back in the future!

Visited today following friends recommendation and was not disappointed! Fantastic bakery with so much more than just classic pastry. Super friendly staff will welcome you with a big smile : Be aware of the queue, this spot is quite popular and well located just next to Victoria Park. If you’re not a cooking person - get in and choose your coffee & breakfast. I do recommend ham&cheese croissants a quiches! Yum! Cheese bread sticks are a must.  Will come back soon folks. Thank you for kind service and great lunch!

Just popped in for a coffee and a bun and I realised I'd left my credit card wallet at home. No problem you can still have your order. The small bits of kindness make living in London a great pleasure. Thanks a million and the coffee, bun and service were superb. 5 stars. I'll pop in tomorrow morning to  settle my bill.

One of the only coffee chain in London with good coffee. Service is always good, friendly and caring. Their pastries are fresh, delicious and good quality. Enjoy

I love Gail’s in general but it is very expensive ! The equivalent of over 4€ for an almond croissant is crazy. Also the wifi in this particular Gail’s doesn’t work properly. Not suitable for someone that has a few email to review on their laptop.
