Working with Futureproof Fitness has been an absolute joy. Choosing a Personal Trainer for the first time, I was a little apprehensive, but also had particularly high expectations. Diago put me at ease and exceeded those expectations in every single area. In addition to the fun I had each week, he listened to my personal goals and tailored our sessions to suit them. On top of that, he designed personal home workout plans, helped me select all of the right kit and equipment, provided dietary Vegan/GF and health recommendations for me and was flexible with moving things around to suit my work. He also pushed me in the right places and at the right times. I find myself fitter, healthier, stronger and happier than I've ever been. So if you're considering booking in and aren't sure about which Personal Trainer to pick, take my word for it - go for Daigo, he's an absolute hero.
Daigo's been supporting me with my fitness for over ten years. He's a really nice guy, is very professional about benchmarking fitness levels, building in goals, and incrementally building up stamina and physique, and the sessions are always great fun. We're out and about in the Hackney parts around London Fields and Haggerston, and Daigo both has great kit to use e.g. resistance bands and TRX and also incorporates what's around into the session - e.g. benches, railings, outdoor sports bars. I'd highly recommend training with him: it's great for body and mind. Additionally, I'm a visually impaired person and Daigo has been fantastic about adapting his training to my needs, so if you're worried about starting out with either a health condition or low base level of fitness you shouldn't worry at all - the training will be geared to where you are and where you want to get to. Highly recommended!
I take a couple of personal training sessions with Daigo on Hackney Downs each week. I really look forward to them and love working with Daigo on my personal goals - his enthusiasm and expertise motivates me to try my best. Daigo has really helped me with both my general fitness and knee rehab. Great workouts, always varied and fun, totally recommend.
Daigo and Futureproof Fitness helped me get super fit, super quick! Not just personal training but a total revamp of my lifestyle, Daigo steered me through some key diet changes and supported me along the way. Having never had a personal trainer before I didn't know what to expect. Daigo's patience and enthusiasm for teaching me new exercises and techniques was spot on, honestly I don't know how he put up with me!
I wholeheartedly, and with great pleasure, recommend Daigo as a brilliant personal trainer. I trained with him for three years leading up to my wedding and throughout my pregnancy. He helped me to increase my fitness and slim down for my wedding. I absolutely loved training outdoors through all seasons - including snow and heatwaves! Daigo made training really fun and it was so much more exciting than being inside a gym. He really listened to what I wanted and made each session really motivating. I particularly loved our Olympics-themed sessions, boxing and using the basketball. Daigo is a lot of fun to be around and I really enjoyed our sessions, as well as finding them hard work!! I even enjoyed the dreaded TRX once I mastered it!!When I got pregnant Daigo was so knowledgeable about how we should change our training regime and what to focus on. I managed to train with him right up until the week I had our baby! I would recommend Daigo to anyone - he is a brilliant trainer, really knows his stuff and is always coming up with fun and exciting ways to train.
I started personal training in Hackney with Daigo TEN YEARS AGO when I was pregnant with my twins. He gave me suitable exercises up to 20 weeks to get me fit and strong ready for carrying two babies to term. After a fitness hiatus, I sought him out when my third child turned four to get myself fit again. Pre-forty, my goals were to get fitter, healthier and stronger - sort out lower back pain and a weak core and lose some of the tummy flab that would not shift post pregnancy. We have been training two times a week and he’s been a miracle worker. Consistent, punctual whatever the weather, we do an intense, varied session which covers aerobic and strength exercises. He has a range of equipment: kettle bells, battle ropes, free weights, dumbbells, gym rings from trees…the list goes on, which means you never get bored and we always do boxing at the end which I love. We workout in Clissold Park and I’m NEVER going back to a gym. I can’t ever imagine doing tummy crunches looking up at a sweaty gym ceiling when I could be gazing up at a blue open sky. The results speak for themselves. Consistent exercising now means at forty I am fitter than in my twenties. To top it all off, Daigo is a really nice guy, so easy to spend time with whilst exercising. The time just flies by!
Future Proof Fitness offer a simply fantastic service. Working with Daigo is an absolute pleasure and extremely effective. With his help, I’ve radically improved my fitness and reached my goal weight. I feel he’s given me skills to sustain my progress. Fit for Life, as they say! No two sessions with Daigo are ever the same - I was motivated and engaged the whole ten weeks I trained with him because I was never bored or felt like I was stuck in a routine. He set benchmarks for me at the top and worked with me to best them by the end of our time together. My fitness has massively improved, and I also feel like I understand a little more about the science of training the body - which muscles do what and how to train them to do specific exercises successfully. The park is also just a much more pleasant environment to train in than an indoor gym. Fully recommend his services, at any level of fitness.
