We went to Furniture Village a couple of months ago to find a new dining table and sofa. On arrival, we were met with friendliness from all the staff. They were approachable and were knowledgeable about the products in store - especially Terry from the Northampton store. We ordered the table and two sofas there and it arrived a few weeks later. The two men that assembled the products were very friendly and polite, and extremely efficient. Thank you very much for your hard work. 5 out of 5 stars!
Nothing short of amazing service given by Scott. Went in to the northampton branch not knowing what we really wanted to buy. We were acknowledged by Scott then left to browse and he assured us he would be on hand if we needed anything. It didn’t take long before we had some questions about the Ariana range. After giving the particular sizes we needed he planed out our room to those measurements. We ended up purchasing the sofas and even had room for a footstool . Very happy with the in store experience would defiantly recommend. : thanks Scott
I visited Furniture Village Northampton on Monday and received excellent customer service from a young man named Liam. He was fabulous throughout, providing brilliant advice and support. I never felt rushed or pressured into a decision, and he was detailed in everything he explained. I had a fantastic experience at Furniture Village in Northampton, Riverside Retail Park. Liam, the gentleman the served me was marvellous. He provided advice and support where needed, and provided excellent service. If you're looking for great quality and value furniture, this is a must visit.
Outstanding service not only from the store Jacque and several managers but from the customer service and delivery team. I would not hesitate to buy from here again. We had a house purchase fall through so were unable to arrange a delivery until we knew what was happening. I spoke to the store who were very understanding. Customer services were equally helpful. They didn't constantly call to arrange delivery they just asked that I keep them informed. Eventually everything beds x 2, sofa, chair and footstool was delivered to a storage unit. The drivers were curtious and helpful. I can not wait until we move and I can go and buy the rest of our furniture. Thank you for scheduling a great service.
Good at selling NOT at customer service. Would give no stars if I could! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! We waited 5 months for the 3 piece suite to arrive. When it arrived it had the wrong coloured feet on the footstool. Never mind I thought as it was easily rectified.....wrong!! FV ordered the feet straight away, 3 months later FV called to say the feet were in, but turned up with the wrong colour again! We contacted Terry who sold us the sofa numerous times, he always put me through to Scott Oliver. Scott promised me a call back every time I spoke to him...he never once called me! I even emailed the Manager Simon Piper about the poor service I was receiving, he never responded! I then out of total frustration contacted the FURNITURE OMBUDSMAN who rewarded us a full refund and the suite to be taken back. The process took 1 year! Before the complaint we also ordered an expensive dining suite with a different branch. It turned up damaged 3 times so had to send it back for a full refund. The process took months! Same experience with their customer service as well....I will be posting my experience with them on their page!
Be very careful when you buy from here dont take out warranty waste of money. Parents brought sofa replaced once cause collapsed both sides. They tried to say cause have dog on it which is a very small dog weighs about 2 bags sugar. Now on second sofa lasted 6 months and refuse to replace it. My son has had his sofa 1 year and has started collapsing underneath. To avoid disappointment go to dfs or some other company. They used to be so good but not now
An utter dissappointment and a waste of £1000+. Our order arrived a month late and damaged. It has been over a year since we've raised the issue and it is still damaged. The customer support agent promised to give us money off the sofa for all the delays but a year later claims that we don't qualify for it. The replacement part they sent did not match the sofa. The technician who came to repair it told us from his experience 9 out of 10 furniture village sofas are sent out damaged. Customer support told us we have to live with the damage or contact our bank to get a refund. It has been a horrible and frustrating experience with furniture village. I recommend looking elsewhere. Customer support continuously refuses to resolve our issue. They explained that even if they ordered a replacement sofa, they can't guarantee it won't arrive damaged. They continue to blame us for purchasing the sofa.
Fantastic service by Scott Oliver today, very informative and answered all our questions. Was very obvious that he has an extensive knowledge of the products and processes. Would definitely recommend.
