We did our research and golden leaves was our preferred provider. The representative arrived on time a few days later and took us through the plans available in great detail. We chose the plan and agreed the representative would ring us two weeks later to confirm. The call didn't happen so we rang golden leaves who said they would investigate the matter. We haven't heard from the company since and they have lost over £7,000 which we would have spent on our policies. We have no idea why there has been no contact.
My Dad has The Copper Plan for £1,495.00 he died on the 18th December 2022 He is in a Cold storage unit in Wales and we have been Told he won't go too the cremtorium until 25th January 2023. All paperwork was completed by Drs and registrar of deaths by the 19th of December 2022. My dad was ready to be transferred straight for cremation but the funeral home did Not want to transfer him to Stockport where All cremations are done for this type of plan. My Family just want my dad home now. This type of service received is very upsetting for my family. Caution with Anyone taking these plans out with this company.
As a former introducer before FCA regulation, I was assured an introducers fee would be paid post regulation providing a client application was submitted before the deadline. I chased this up in December 2022 with the customer service team. The lady I spoke to was unhelpful and abrupt. I was told to email a generic company email address which I did and have not received any response since. Appears I was lied to by the account manager before the FCA regulation deadline so they could simply have the application. Disappointing. I will not be recommending this company.
Fantastic service from day one and great caring attentive phone calls through to having a visit from Paul to finalise a funeral plan of my choice and indeed for my wife too. No hesitation to recommend to family and friends especially now given the cost of living crisis we are all enduring. Thank you Golden Leaves.

Really easy to use, provided my mum with an excellent plan which was better value than the costs provided for Co-op, Golden Charter and Safe Hands. Start to finish has been really smooth. Would highly recommend.
Just had a very long passive aggressive cold call would not take no for a answer, very glad he wasn't talking to a elderly vulnerable persons., Golden leaves should have more control over there sales people.
This is a company that could not be more helpful, at what is a very stressful time in any ones life when dealing with a loss. they are extremely compassionate helpful understanding and went above and beyond their duty to ensure the very best of care was carried out. highly recommend this service to help with peace of mind at the time of deep sorrow and loss.
I filled in the online questionnaire as genuinely wanted to take out a funeral plan. I got a rapid reply by means of a telephone call from Kaylee. She explained certain details and arranged for me to take a call the next day at 10.00am from a lady named Wendy who would explain all plans available. I waited for the call with pen and paper at the ready but nobody phoned, I got a call from Kaylee at 6.30pm and asked why Wendy hadn't called. She said she was on another call and that she was phoning to rearrange another call appointment for Wendy. I told her it was very bad service and if they can't get it right in the beginning they might not get it right in the end. She hung up. Dead loss, give them a wide berth.
These coffin-chasers just cold-called my wife trying to sell funeral plans. She's only just buried her lovely Mum and was already deeply upset....now in bits!!!
