Co-op Funeralcare, Shirley Road

Lucy at South Croydon was amazing, I booked a cremation for my Father April 2023. The cremation was well priced, perhaps a little bit more expensive but you have the piece of mind that CoOp go the extra mile and give a 5 star service which i had already experienced when Co-Op looked after my Mum April 2002. Criydon University Hospital took 7 days to issue the paperwork for me to register the death, another 4 days to get an appt at Croydon Town Hall to get the death certificate. There is a backlog and they are now booking for June! Lucy chased and managed to get me a slot in April via the booking team. There was then a further delay getting my Dad into Co-Ops care because of the doctors strike and booked annual leave and finally the order of service books arrived late from printers courtesy of DPD couriers. Every step of the way Lucy was chasing and chasing to get everything in order. Lucy also coordinated with a local florist and arranged all the music we wanted to be played directly with the Crematorium. The whole service and cremation was beautiful and we couldnt have done it without Lucy's kindness, patience and skills to bring everything together. Thanks so much Lucy.

A big thank you to Lucy, Dawn & Terry. We've never had to go through planning a funeral before so it was our first time. From the day I booked my appointment with them to the day my dad got buried they made our lives easy by arranging everything for us.
