Cheap and great Base for The Lizard area.

we love this place, have been coming twice a year for 16 years, its a quiet family run site and both Jackie and Bruce are very accommodating Federica Sarti if you want a kitchen get a caravan! yours is not a true representation of the site.

I will definitely visit again. It is dog friendly and very relaxed. Good facilities.

The staff were incredibly helpful with regards to booking and we were extremely excited to be going here for 3 days back in early August. However when we arrived back from our day out ready to wind down there was an extremely large family with alot of children tearing through our plot nearly hitting the van, on bikes, screaming and shouting and throwing balls in a very small camping area(not their fault there was no play area or seperate area for them to go and play). We have stayed in many sites in many places around the UK and not a single one of them, even in the holidays, have we had issues like this. The area is basically a small field with no play area for the children and poorly laid out. To top it off there is one toilet for men and one toilet for ladies, with a seperate hut with a sink basically in filthy outdoor sheds. One shower each also in a hut/shed. No facilities to do your washing up either. This was not good enough and for £27 a night we left after our first night. The lady and staff are really nice so it was sad that it turned out this way.
