Lovely place to go to for peace and quiet with great scenery

There is everything you would want in a beach. rock pools to search for crabs and fish, plenty of rocks for climbing and exploring, beautiful sand, beautiful waters, a cafe that makes delicious hot drinks, hot dogs, sandwiches & chips etc with a seating area overlooking the water. not full of tourists. really quiet and beautiful. HIGHLY recomended

This is a lovely beach - clean and safe with lifeguards on duty in the summer. It's great for swimming and body boarding, sandcastles and forts. There are rockpooling opportunities at either end of the beach. The main part is mostly sand with a band of pebbles near the high tide mark. There are two cafes by the car park which are good value and do nice basic food. highly recommended for young families :)
