Very delightful tent and accommodation! Only issue was we went in March and it was too cold. Plus a few more issues encountered...... I would suggest going in the summer months for sure. There is a wood burning stove inside but it does not radiate out enough heat for March/April UK weather. We left early bc it was too cold. A few suggestions to the owners would be: supply more electric sockets inside the tent, there is currently only one and it is not enough to run lighting, kettles and personal devices etc. I respect this is glamping, but the option of having one available rather than not would have made our stay better bc we wouldn't have had to keep going out back in the cold to use the kettle. Also a heating source inside the tent would have helped, not just relying on the stove, like supplying some kind of electric heater with enough capacity to warm the large tent would have helped. There is also a need for some kind of inside cooking element, again not just the wood burner. This would have helped bc waiting 30 mins to an hour for the wood stove to heat up in order to cook was slow. We brought an extension cord and electric heater and were still cold and having to mess around with electrics to get things to work. The safari tent and beds were great but this is called glamping for a reason and it was not as comfortable as I had expected. It was quite a struggle really for 3 adults. Now if you had children it might have been even be harder. More lighting inside the tent. Possible insulate the shower/bathroom as they were cold too. Also, bear in mind to bring ear plugs........it's not fabulous when the next tent along has occupants that are arguing on and off amd swearing at one another. Owners need a "Campsite etiquette" policy!!! They did not seem to address this in the information booklet provided. If the owners contemplate the suggestions here then our stay may have been somewhat different. Otherwise lovely part of the country and Puldhu cove and cafe are very close and very nice to mess around on in the day.
