Amazing place. Be prepared for a £2 toll road down to the car park, and a very steep one it was too, but definitely worth the effort. A pub lunch at the Wreckers is a must!

My daughter & I went for lunch today. This is a favourite place of ours. We both had the beef lasagne which comes with salad & garlic toast and we were not disappointed. The food was hot and delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Even on a cold winters day the views of the estuary are beautiful. Highly recommended for a coffee, lunch or afternoon tea ( the cakes are amazing ).

Interesting museum with lookout point over the estuary, and an excellent café open most days of the year (check if you are doing it during the Christmas period). The Tarka trail passes by and bike hire is possible. Enjoy it at your best when lashed by driving rain!

Busy. Nice teas and ice cream. Museum informative. Went fossil hunting on the beach with the kids as the tide was out.
