Only been in the downstairs room which is cozy and pleasant. I had a salad, generous portion and served with a side of delicious home made chips. A homemade coleslaw that as really nice too. I followed that with a large portion of home made rocky road, equally delicious. Some gluten free bread available and meals can accommodate those who have this dietary difficulty. All good I saw served looked fantastic. Husband had a homemade beefburgers with homemade chips and salad. Meals to suit all with a daily special if you fancy it. Highly recommended this delightful cafe.

We eat here regularly because the food is excellent; freshly home made with quality ingredients (even the bangers in the breakfast - the yardstick of a good fry up to me). Great homemade chips and very good value. The daily special eg pasty chips and beans less than £3. This is the best cafe in the town centre.

Popped in for breakfast after seeing positive reviews on the web. We weren't disappointed, the food was plentiful and the whole family enjoyed their different orders. Staff were helpful adjusting some of the meals to suit our taste and we would definitely recommend to others.
