Our first campervan experience, and we are already planning the next! Freeline made pick up and drop off really easy, the van was perfect for our needs and we had a fantastic time in England, Scotland and Wales. A couple of niggles with the van while we were away, and no phone signal to call Richard for advice, but fellow campers helped and problem solved in an hour. Would use again unless we buy our own! and recommend freeline for anyone else looking for hassle free van rental.
First time I have hired a motorhome was from Freeline for the recent August B/H weekend. The Adria Twin SF was perfect for what we needed. The vehicle was spotless and drove very well. I have rehired for another weekend later this month. Richard was very patient and explained everything to me when I collected the motorhome. The whole experience was excellent and the team at Freeline could not have been kinder or more friendly.
I hired a motorhome from Freeline in August for a touring holiday to Scotland. I have to say that Richard made the whole experience hassle free, was polite and very friendly, he even managed to get us away earlier than planned. The motorhome was exactly as the described on the website. I would definitely hire from Freeline again, already planning the next trip.
My family & I hired the Sun Lido from Richard at Freeline for the second year running as we found the service that he provided excellent. The motorhome was fantastic and we had an amazing holiday in Scotland. I would highly recommend Freeline & look forward to touring again maybe even venturing abroad, in the future.
This was the first time we had hired a campervan and thanks to Richard we are hooked! Everything about the process was easy from booking to collecting it and for all the guidance Richard gave us. The van was clean, comfortable and was exactly what we had hoped. We hired a 6 berth and were amazed to find we had a Kingsize bed!! Certainly not what we expected! Thanks Richard for helping us have a fabulous weekend, we'll be back!
We just want to thank you for making our 3 week motorhome adventure around the UK so enjoyable. You were so easy to deal with, friendly, and helpful, which enabled us to just relax and get on with our holiday. The motorhome itself is awesome! We were so happy to find out we would be driving a vehicle that is basically brand new. It was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room for the two of us. Given how beautiful the UK is, we are so happy with our decision to explore it in one of your motorhomes. We'll definitely be back for another trip. Until then, we'll be sure to recommend you to other people.
Hired the Adria 690 Sport for 2 weeks. When on holiday a number of faults and issues were raised to the owner, Richard. For example toilet trap door on Thetford not working, the dining table had been broken by another customer and bodged back together incorrectly which would not allow it to safely convert into a bed and the shower in the bedroom was leaking causing a noise during the night from the dripping and the water pump kicking in. All issues raised with Richard whom was very helpful and offered advise and authorisation for a call out from a local caravan repairer however due to local businesses not being able to fit us in for the repair until the last day of the holiday we decided not to go ahead with the repairs. Under the circumstances, in that we had encountered an unreasonable amount of avoidable issues should the van have been inspected prior to us taking it out I asked Richard for a small refund to compensate us on having to deal with the faults over the whole holiday. Unfortunately this was refused which I was disappointed with as the call out fee should we have gone thru with the repairs would have been more than we had expected back as compensation. So my advise to all hirers, check your van out thoroughly prior to leaving Freeline Motorhomes. The Adria had an oil light flashing on the dash and a number of dinks and cracked rear light which the owner was aware of and advised us to ignore it.
We have just hired a motorhome CARIOCA 694 from Freeline and have had a thoroughly enjoyable time. This was our first time hiring and it we are already planning our next trip, the service we received was great and we cannot recommend you enough. Thank you!
We recently hired a motorhome for a week from Freeline Motorhomes. We had great service and the vehicle standards are very high. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Hired a campervan for the first time, it was a lovely van. The handover wasn't the best as the manager was away from the office. Aside from that the overall experience was acceptable.
