House of fraser houses many high-quality brands all over the world. They have cosmetics, perfume, clothing, and makeup. It is very big and its design is very elegant and class. The prices are high. They make many offers during annual events.
Bad. Staff were mostly rude. I intended to purchase a Marc Jacob’s bag from the sale but ended up walking out after two members of staff blatantly ignored me. If I am planning to pay good money then I expect polite service. They lost out on over £200. I will say that there was a nice lady on the Prada counter who was friendly and answered any questions I may have Prada bag was beautiful but not something I wanted to buy. Previously I had purchased from the makeup counter and the staff there were very friendly so was disappointed that the staff were unfriendly at the bag section. Really off putting as a paying customer.
Every time I go to Mac I have an amazing experience, my most recent time shopping I was looking for a specific lip combo and Harriet took me to one of the stations and took the time to do it on me and talk me through how to bend the colours and what goes best absolutely amazing experience
On Saturday 27th July my partner began to feel faint and thought she was going to pass out due to the heat instore. I would just like to praise the 4 or 5 seperate members of staff on the 1st floor who seen this and came to her attention to ask if she needed help. They brought her a seat to sit on, a glass of water, asked if she wanted to go and sit in the comfortable seats in the Gents formal wear section and generally were very kind, caring, and helpful. We would like to pass on our thanks to each of them and for them to know how much there kindness is appreciated. They are a credit to the store.
Love this place ,bit of extravagance a proper old school department store ,high end not many of these left ,if at all ,pop in just to take it in you wont regret it.....
Had an amazing makeup lesson with Iona and Ryan today. The two of them were so lovely, informative and made my cousin and I look and feel so beautiful when we left. 100% would recommend and we will definitely be back!
The customer service provided by Jill at the NARs counter today and on a previous visit are the best I have ever encountered. My daughter had a make up tutorial and Jill was so genuine, personable and complimentary. We'll definitely be back and whatever you're paying Jill, it's not enough!
Where did you hire the clerks? Probably not professionals or full time employees, although in their 40-50s. Constantly complaining, talking back, making inappropriate comments instead of helping. Also pretending to rearrange the shelves for not interacting with customers, while complaining and "crushing" dresses making noise on purpose. For just stopping and just talking among them as soon as customers get fat. People were in between laughing and disgusted. If you make them do jokes it would have been a completely business model stand-up comedy perhaps?. If this is the company value and customer service, probably you can start the count down for closing down shop pretty soon.
Absolutely shocking service! Sorry but this is going to be a long one. Went in to purchase a bag so looked at Balmain salesman was great and helpful. Went to Prada- these guys are always spot on but tbh they are down marketing themselves being in house of Frasers they should be in Edinburgh tbh. Anyway went to Chloe, sales girl was serving a man. So I stood patiently. I looked at her put my bag down waited. No eye contact no sorry be with you in a min. She really couldn’t be arsed and she wasn’t the only one! At this point I’m thinking what’s the issue here why wouldn’t u even look at a customer or approach them? Anyway I waited a long time- no sorry for waiting. . I looked at the bag and decided I didn’t like it. Went over to the Burberry section.chose a bag and had to ask the security guy for a sales person and btw he was lovely- he actually had a go at the guys saying I know we under staff but come on. Anyway, he got me a sales girl. I said I wanted to see the belt out. Sales girl said “oh you can help yourself”. I was fuming but did well in not saying anything back. This is Burberry not any bag! Anyway I decided to purchase it there was a mark in it- she didn’t bother to check if she had anymore . Said I can give you 10% off/ thought that was fine was a small mark. Go to the cashier and she put a dust bag on the Burberry bag and put it in a big carrier bag. I was going to question her about the box but at this point I was livid either I was gona walk out or have a go at her. I’ve checked with Burberry they have boxes for all bags- so again she couldn’t be bothered to get it. Literally disappointed and wished I hadn’t went in. The customer service is diabolical at least have some customer service skills. Won’t be surprised if house of Frasers is no more. Terrible service! Go elsewhere!
Kirstin at Lancome counter was fabulous today. Couldn't have been more helpful and patient with the three of us. Real asset to the team
