We were staying in Cranfield, but the kid said he wanted good pasta, so I found this lovely Italian restaurant with great vibes and excellent service. We had the garlic bread with mozzarella first, which was truly generous and tasty, with real cheese that forms threads when the slices are separated. I then had the risotto gamberi, and the kids had the linguine carbonara, children size, which was perfect for him and came with an ice cream cone. My risotto was flavourful, with smooth rice and proper chewiness in the shrimps and beautifully cooked cherry tomatoes in a mild but spicy "sauce." The carbonara had great aroma, and while the kid wanted the bacon in smaller bits, I thought more substantial pieces of pancetta were definitely a plus. The best Italian food for miles! We had yet another lovely evening at fratellis in woburn, we sat out in the garden as the weather was so humid and it was the perfect setting full of ambience. Wow found this gem of a place while stopping overnight in a nearby hotel with my daughter, we were extremely hungry so we over ordered a tad lol but everything was exceptional. I had the casereece Giorgio a creamy mushroom and bacon pasta with a side salad of tomatoes. My daughter had a margarita with a side of rosemary mozzarella pizza bread and neither were disappointed. Excellent atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, will 100% be travelling back here with the boss wife lol
