I have had my Bernina 707 since 1970 and thanks to their expertise it is still going strong. Frank Nutt has serviced my machine regularly but, most impressively, has been able to resolve various issues thanks to his expertise built up over the years. I really appreciate the fact that despite it being a 'Classic' machine, they realise that it is a valued resource and take time and trouble to look after it. All the staff are friendly and helpful and I always enjoy visiting the shop. I cannot recommend them too highly !
I can't rate Frank Nutt Sewing Machines highly enough. The whole team are so knowledgeable and friendly. Frank himself was absolutely amazing last week helping me get my embroidery machine back up and running, I can't thank him enough for his knowledge and kindness. Huge thank you to Dennis, whose technical knowledge is unmatched! If you're looking for an embroidery or sewing machine, this is 100% the place to go. I wouldn't buy from anywhere else, the peace of mind of having a team on hand to assist, is invaluable. Thanks again Frank, it was worth the 200 mile drive!
what an amazingly helpful sewing machine shop! They had knowledge of my very old Elna machine and within minutes had managed to whip off the side panel and replace the bulb [the original ones of which are no longer made , hence my problems in changing it] They did this with no charge and a cheerful enthusiasm. Fantastic.
I had a problem with the feed dogs on my Bernina 735 which jammed in the down position. I took it in this morning and the staff could not have been more helpful. The mechanism was jammed with pins which had fallen below the stitch plate. The problem was sorted quickly without any charge. I cannot speak highly enough about this fantastic company
I ordered my overlocker over the phone so I haven't had the opportunity to visit the showroom and the staff I spoke to were very helpful. I was so impressed with their website too; the overlocker I was looking at had an introduction video showing it in use which I found incredibly helpful. Very fast delivery, machine is fabulous, and I'm a very happy customer.

I give 5 stars for quick phone call back about my small problem with my Brother Embroidery machine but unfortunately I was told they dont deal with Brother machines but I have just been a load of Brother models for sale on their site. Am confused,I dont know if it is because I did not buy it from there but Brother gave me the Knutts details to take it there for my minor problem and the machine is in warranty,I have only had machine since Jan this year. Am gutted they cant help as the other place Brother said I can take it is the Knutt shop in Walsall but I dont drive and my husband is on dialysis three times a wk andcrecovering from heart attack so doesnt drive far.
Definitely 5 stars for Frank Nutt and his wonderful shop in Kings Heath, Birmingham. I purchased a second-hand Bernina B750QE sewing machine from his shop over a year ago. What a wonderful machine… an excellent purchase, well priced and trouble free. Before i purchased, I studied the selection on the shop’s online choice of available machines, Bernina, Husqvarna, Janome, Pfaff, Singer, then went to the shop to try it out. Mr. Nutt gave me a full and careful explanation and demonstration of the machine I liked and answered all my questions, so I purchased it and took it home, confident and ready to get started. I love it, such a joy to use, I’m starting my 8th dress now. Lots of household sewing too. And baby stuff. Last week I ordered a walking foot online from Frank Nutt but it did not quite align correctly onto my Bernina. The nice staff that I talked to on the phone were super helpful, and in the end I took my machine back to the shop to have the foot re-aligned. No charge, no fuss, no problem: just helpful people who wanted my machine to work perfectly again. Mr Nutt really knows all about sewing machines, the staff were so helpful, and I now I am a happy seamstress again. There is free parking beside the shop and it’s really worth going in person to try out their huge selection of machines both new and used and to get knowledgeable advice and assistance. I really recommend Frank Nutt and his shop most highly and am so thankful that I chose to use this company. A sewing machine is a big purchase and you need to to be sure that you buy just the right one. This is a great place to find a great sewing machine!
I’ve bought two machines from Frank Nutt so far, a year apart. Both came with exceptional service and continued help with anything we need even a year after purchase. Frank delivered both machines to our home, and gave us full run throughs on how to use the machines, and went through problem solving with my husband. We are absolutely thrilled with all the service we have received since purchasing our first one in early 2022. We would never go anywhere else
Excellent after sales service My 10 month old machine had developed some minor faults Needle threader not working - which turned out to be due to a bent needle! Some threads caught in the thread cutter, and tension seemed to have loosened The staff were very helpful when I rang and explained. They arranged for my machine to be collected. It arrived back a week later with everything sorted. Great service. Thank you.
