We visited for early lunch time so it was pretty quiet. And we ordered homemade lemonade and orange juice! This must try : I think it is really fresh and good! and I order salad , my husband ordered a pizza not sure the name bottom second from the menu both are great and fresh! Specially pizza dough is really tasty!! And staff was friendly and all of the place was very clean : we had a great time I would love to try other pizza
The waiter was lovely howbeit inexperienced. My pizza tasted delicious as expected from F.M and it’s a great size so you’re full without feeling like you ate your weight in flour very thin base. My friend however, was dissatisfied as the vegetarian pizza of the day came with no tomatoe base and I had ordered an extra topping which I didn’t get. The glass I had for water was dirty so I ended up drinking from the bottle itself. 3.5 stars.
Service: Staff was friendly and welcoming although the waitress was quite inexperienced since it took a while for you drinks two bottles of water to come. I understand the restaurant was full and takeaway pizzas were made at the same time, but it took 30minutes for our order to arrive which is quite uncommon. The waitress didn’t come to check on us throughout the meal so we had to go to the counter to ask for the bill while the table next to me had to get up to call the waiter to order their food. Cleanliness:Table was sticky see photo and bathrooms needed to be cleaned urgently. Food: Both pizzas were GF and the base was not that special, but the ingredients were the highlight of the night and I do recommend having the number 7. Overall experience: 3
Always a big fan of the Franco Manca chain, but the Richmond one is my favourite by far! The quality of the food is so amazing looking then how much it costs, suuuch good value for money. This time around we ordered a pizza to share number 7 which we loved! and two starters: ragú with sourdough and aubergine parmigiana. The guy who served us was so sweet and helpful too. They have loads of high chairs for babies as well as a changing baby bathroom much appreciated, and kids menu!! So worth it if you like pizza. Kid-friendliness: Lots of high-chairs, kids menu and baby changing bathroom. Perfect for kids.
Very good pizza and staff were friendly. Long wait but they did let us know and helped us using the app to get loyalty stamps. Pizza was great and price was very fair. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options and willing to change any meat topping for a veggie one. Parking: Parking wasn't great, had to use high street car park and walk over
At first I thought it was unnecessary to leave a review, since this is a chain restaurant and only a few based on my personal experience can offer very high-quality food. An example is the "British mozzarella" I don't even know what this is supposed to mean... as regular cheese, and if you want the "real mozzarella" you need to pay an extra £2.45. This being said, after reading some reviews I felt the need to leave mine. Why? Because this is not the real/authentic/excellent pizza advertised by many. This is a pizza, but a bad one. I don't know if it is because the dough didn't rise enough, but despite being thin it wasn't soft at all, and some parts were even crunchy.... The only good average thing was the toppings, where, of course, I chose the "real mozzarella". The service was also poor, as with only 3 tables included ours, the waiter never came back to take our drinks order and it was not easy to draw the staff attention. So if you want a pizza and you do not particurarly care about the authenticity/quality of it, this place is a good choice.
A nice place, very friendly service. The pizzas are delicious, the dough is well prepared and authentic. The starters are overpriced for what they are. We had the burrata toast and the baked aubergines. Neither of these were very tasty, somewhat bland and quick to prepare, not worth the price. My recommendation is to go and order a good pizza. And if you're hungry, share another.
Service was good, staff were nice. Pizza was good but a little undercooked. Prices are average. Their garlic cheese bread comes with a big chunks of garlic which makes it bitter, wouldn’t recommend it.
This is with no doubt a 5 star restaurant. We come to Franco manca whenever we crave a lovely italian meal. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is classic italian style. We got the pizza £8-11, some starters, cocktails and delicious light and airy tiramisu £4.50 for 50 quid. The restaurant itself is a spacious place with high ceilings. There are some parking places around but not a lot for free. I would definitely recommend Franco Manca.
I was happily surprised to come across this location in Richmond. I know of Franco Manca from when my friends lived in Chiswick. For the short amount of time I've visited London, I've been there a few times. I love the sourdough pizza. This time I ordered the veg special which came with a glass of bubbly in honor of the Queens Jubilee. The mushroom, onion, and mozzarella...I was on my own and took half the pie to eat while I was in the airport waiting for my flight back to the US. As a New Yorker that has had some of the best pizza in the world, I highly recommend you try this sourdough pizza at Franco Manca. I'm going to close my eyes and dream about that pillowy soft crust center dipped in the infused pepper and garlic oil options they gave me...BRB
