I have always had positive experiences from this surgery and always found them very helpful.They have always managed to fit me in for an appointment even on the same day,very happy to be a patient here.
I have always had excellent service at this surgery as did my parents before me. The receptionists are friendly and efficient and the doctors too. The new system for booking appointments is much better than the old one: instead of hanging onto the phone you can have a ring back when it is your turn.They are coping with new systems. Some people don't like the telephone discussions, but I don't think the surgery has any choice about this: it is common to most surgeries now. The doctors listen with care and respond in terms which the patient can understand.nAs I say....5 stars.
Framlingham Surgery gave the best service I could wish for. Had a chest infection attended to immediately, then a full blood count with feedback within a day and a follow up face to face with a doctor a week later regarding the lung infection within an hour of my request. The receptionist, blood sister and both doctors gave outstanding service. Thank you.
I am posting anonymously for fear of being given even worse service than I currently receive. Framlingham surgery is consistently rated the worst in the area and with good reason. It is very difficult to see a GP. Telephone appointments are offered months in the future. Clinical decisions are made by unqualified receptionists and if you are lucky enough to get a face to face appointment it will be with a nurse practitioner or similar. It is a shocking service which must be leading to many missed diagnoses, inappropriate visits to A and E ,and ultimately ,unnecessary deaths. There are 5 GPs similar to pre covid when the majority of appointments were face to face, so this cannot be the reason for their lack of visability. Neighbouring practices perform much better with similar or fewer numbers of GPs. The assumption must therefore be that there is a problem with management. Special measures should be put in place as currently this is a dangerously poor service.
