My experience of the Drs and surgery has been a relatively positive one , However I was concerned to discover yesterday that if I use the 0845 number from my mobile to call the surgery i am charged a premium rate for my calls (4 very short calls recently cost me £10, my mobile provider informs me that half of this will be going to the surgery I have raised this issue with the surgery and apparently they do not advertise this number but they don't have to... a google search this morning makes it the most prominent search result....surgery please can you do more to make this clear to your patients? Thank You

Nice looking clinic but dreadful pedantic doctor assigned to us. I told the doctor I had a hiatal hernia. She promptly corrected me in a sniffy voice that 'actually it is called a hiatus hernia.' Like I really care just please help me with my problem. I checked later and discovered that both hiatus and hiatal are correct uses. She then asked me what medicine I was taking. I replied Nexium but couldn't remember the exact dosage. I said it was sold in a purple box but I could let her know later. To which she replied; 'Well there are over 4,000 prescription medicines how am I meant to know all of them.' All she recommended were some more meds no suggestions on diet etc.. I will not go back there as a patient should feel comfortable to talk to his doctor and not feel you are going to get told off every five minutes. Worst doctor I have ever come across.

Most of the staff are really helpful. I ring up at 8am hoping to get an appointment. Most of the time this has happen. There is one oldish nurse I refuse to see as no empathy and really hasn't got a caring bone in her body but the rest of the staff are brilliant they are caring from the reception to the dispensary. I have only been kept waiting over 30 minutes a couple of time and one of these occasions was the doctor had an emergency come in.
