Fun pub around the corner of Brick Lane. Decent wines on offer, the necessary beers and ample seating. I like the position of the bar as it allows for easy access all ‘round. Pretty high ceilings give a more spacious feel than your standard pub and the staff is very laid back. Thoroughly enjoyable! Don’t ask me about the food, I didn’t eat- smelled nice though!
Great pub! The roast beef was the best I’ve had in London! Friendly service and there’s some space out the back to enjoy in summer.Food: 5/5
Buzzzinggg pub ! They have a few screens up for the Euros, a lovely pint of Guinness and some incredible food. The highlights of my visit: 1. The banging playlist in the background 2. The OUT OF THE WORLD HOSPITALITY BY THE STAFF at the England Slovakia game. The crew was on it they were all over the place making sure everybody was happy. They did everything in their capacity to make everyone stay safe and enjoy the game. Kudos to the team who worked on Sunday, I really appreciate the effort !!
Great service, atmosphere and reasonable prices! During our time in London we stopped at this pub across the street from our accommodations numerous times. The staff were always friendly and attentive. Shout out to Lizzie - she’s great! We didn’t eat here but enjoyed a few beverages which we found were well priced. There is a great bar with a lot of seating around it. Overall we would definitely return if we’re in the area.
Lovely boozer with period features. Original tiles on one side with modern conversion on the other. Smoking area out back and seats on the main road too. Really pleasant staff Very handy for Shoreditch, Brick Lane etc.Food: 5/5
Had a great time here! The staff are so friendly & welcoming. The beef roast was delicious & I think I can safely say it was best Bloody Mary I’ve had!Food: 5/5
What a remarkable pub with a vibrant and congenial staff. Reasonably priced and a spectacular atmosphere on a nightly basis. From the bartenders, to the kitchen staff and upper management, I received genuine hospitality each and every visit. Thank you for making my time in London so memorable, I will certainly be back!Food: 5/5
Fish and chips wasn't the best I've had. Batter on fish was under cooked and mushy peas side was cold. Good chips saved the meal going back. This was the undercooked batter remains after I scraped out the fish inside.Food: 2/5
Lovely atmosphere and 9/10 of the staff are amazing. However, the manager with red hair is extremely rude. I would highly recommend to stay clear of her as she is not the friendly, nice staff that you should usually encounter! Nevertheless, still a great place to hang with friends :Food: 4/5
Nice casual pub for drinks and food. We went on a Friday evening and sat in the sun on the benches at the front, we had Aperol, fish&chips and a Caesar salad which were all delicious. I was on crutches at the time and the toilets are down steep stairs so not great for people with accessibility requirements. *EDIT* There is a disabled toilet available.
