It was a lovely lunch, with really nice cider and IPA. I was here with my best friend. The only thing if you order the coliflower soup it comes with sunflower oil. I’ll rather order it with out it. Overall I recommend this place. Nice nice viewFood: 5/5
Friendly greeting as we entered the premises. Our food and drinks orders were taken swiftly. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was amazing - huge portions and very very tasty. So good we came back for brunch the following dayFood: 5/5
Great pub by the south bank with fantastic view of St Paul's. Worth a visit on a sunny day either sitting or standing outside, soaking the vibes by the Thames. Also, beautiful in the evening both outdoors in summer and indoors in winter thanks to the large glass windows overlooking the Thames.Food: 4/5
The strategic location of this pub is its best feature and super easy to book. Sunday roast sides were delicious but the gravy & roast slices were thin and shy on flavour. Sticky Toffee Pudding was a dry molasses cake with loads of sauce.Food: 4/5
This is a great British gastro pub right on the South Bank of the river Thames with great views of the London skyline and St Peter's Cathedral from the nice outdoor seating. I ordered a squash soup and the chicken pot pie that hit the spot after a long day of travel. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap. Highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: The men's restroom is up a flight of stairs.
Had a very yummy chicken pie and enjoyed the view on the Thames ! But as the place is popular and busy, especially at dinner time, tbh the service leaves much to be desired. I did booking via google and the system did not provide me with any choice of tables like indoors/outdoors tables. So when I came they seated me inside, because there were no available tables outside. As the inside area is ACed it was freezing and the only wish i got was to leave the place as soon as possible. Besides that the waitress did not ask me if I’d finished my meal and just simply took away the plate tho there was still some food left on it… yeah, i get: typical brutal British service but still…
Staff are all amazing, helpful and friendly. The view is brilliant and service is speedy! I ordered the chicken wings and although the coating was nice, the meat of the wings were plain, and didn’t feel like they were marinated; which I feel is a missed opportunity. The Camembert was heavy on the ammonia which gave the rind a strong chemical taste, and although I didn’t mind it, my friends thought otherwise. All in all was a good experience could do with some touch ups on the food.
Perfectly nice to sit and watch the world go by. We had breakfast on a Monday morning, and service was a bit slow but the food was good.Food: 5/5
Nice clean and tidy. Friendly staff but no table service. We were sitting outside having a fantastic view over the river Thames in the evening. I didn't eat anything there so I only can comment on the lovely cocktails me and my friend had that night. Really tasty and for London a really good price for a cocktail.Food: 5/5
What a lovely way to end a day discovering London. Our waitress, Lou Lou was so, so wonderful. Friendly, observant, helpful, and chatty. Thank you!Food: 4/5
