Great pub where the local business people seem to stop by for a cold drink. Plenty of drinks but lacking a little in the food.
Really delicious Black Pudding Scotch Egg at this pub which also does nose to tail beef / pork on certain nights. My preference is a soft yolk, but the flavor was still really good. The sausage roll was decent - but for a great one go down the block to Grace.
We held a private event here on a Saturday evening recently. The staff were all incredibly helpful. All of our guests commented on what a hidden gem it was. Versatile layout and great character. On a Saturday we were able to have the entire venue, which in central London is a rarity.
A fairly quiet back Street pub which is popular with anyone who might be lucky enough to find it. Been past dozens of times before realising it was here. Has 2 Fuller's real ales including London Pride. Very comfortable. Worth seeking out.
Great pub during the week, unfortunately not open at the weekend. Good beer, good staff and great company. Recommend a visit
I love this pub. Staff are quick and friendly, the food is yummy, the wines and beers are Good, and they have Scampi fries!! Nice layout inside although it can get a bit crowded on busy days, and space to safely congregate outside, this is a nicely hidden gem that I have gone to for many years.
Nice pub in the blackfriars area. Great selection of beers. Fish and chips was ok, not the best though but apparently the burgers here is what you should go for! Chicken skewers were great aswell. They have offer of beer and Hamburger for fixed price which is quite good.
Always like this place. Good cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and good choice of food, wine and beer. I particularly liked their Christmas decorations this year. I would recommend this place for a casual lunch and drinks after work.
