Ordered a happy meal tonight, I had the salt and pepper chicken to start followed by the chicken curry for main. Absolutely fantastic super tasty, the curry was perfection.
It's very hit or miss as a local I have ordered a good few times before and I will explain several situations I have found with them. About; Traditional Chinese Takeaway menu. Cash on delivery only. Quick, easy and relatively cheap. Normally - Fantastic food and was delivered within 30-50 mins.They tell you on the phone how long it will be and usually accurate. Food was hot upon delivery. Especially the sweet and sour sauce that was nuclear. However 1st poor experience was when we ordered and were told 1hr as they were busy. 2hours past and Fortune house had actually closed by this point. So we started cooking a late tea as everyone had an eventful day and were hungry. The food arrived 20minutes after the place had closed. It was good though but poor show on timings. 2nd poor show and a deal breaker unfortunately despite the good food.. Never ordered anything with nuts and stated that we catagorically can NOT have food that has came in contact with nuts, my son who is badly allergic, had a reaction. We called to warn them and they did not seem too fussed to be honest. So we will avoid for the future. Dietary restrictions: May have been a one off but do stipulate rigorously your allergens. Make sure Epipens are handy just in case.

Best Chinese takeaway that I've had in a long time. Most others are much the same, not necessarily bad, but definitely not good enough to really remember and want to go back as much as possible. This is how our whole family now feel about this takeaway, actually getting excited as soon as we ask them if they fancy a Chinese from Anstruther!! Love their crispy noodle dishes, really great and their Singapore chow mein is amazing

Friendly Chinese takeaway and the beef in black bean sauce was great. They didn't have crispy aromatic duck and the chicken foo young was different from what we normally enjoy but I would order from here again.
Our new.favourite chinese takeaway. Chearful staff, open decent hours and good food. Parking: On street parking a bit cramped in summer... double yellow lines outside but not really causing any problems to traffic if you sneakily park on them and keep an eye out for the rare wardens ; Wheelchair accessibility: What more to say... wheelchair accessible.
The food is fantastic and so fresh and to top it off the staff are so cheery and friendly! Always delived to my door with a big smile! Highly recommend

Food is always superb from here, but only downside is the portion sizes on some dishes have gotten smaller. Got a happy meal couple months ago, shredded salt and pepper chicken which came in a full size plastic tub, plenty chicken in it. Ordered the same last week and got about 5 bits of chicken in a small foil container. Won't stop me ordering from here though, best Chinese I have had quality wise.
