Welcome to our Falkirk practice. We offer NHS and private dental services and are currently registering new patients both here and at Stenhousemuir

Story

The McNicol family have been providing high quality family dentistry to the Forth Valley population for over 60 years. Jack McNicol began his successful career in Falkirk in 1958 and in 1988 his son Donald opened his practice in Stenhousemuir. Father and son worked together in partnership together until Jack's retirement in 1992.

Gillian Lennox joined Donald at Stenhousemuir in 1998 and in late 2009 a new partnership was born: Forth Valley Smile Design - McNicol and Lennox. This partnership continues our long established tradition of providing high quality NHS Dentistry to all patients. In addition we are proud to offer an extensive range of private treatments that are not available on the NHS. Our facial aesthetics clinic provides a range of facial rejuvenation treatments designed to fully enhance your smile and help you look and feel your very best.

We have our own in house dental laboratory and are able to carry out same day denture repairs (if received by 10.30am)

Our aim is to make to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your visit.Prevention is at the heart of our practice philosophy. From birth through to retirement and beyond, our goal is to help you achieve the healthiest smile possible. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the practice.

I would give 0 stars if I could, Absolutely horrendous experience, the dentist completed work without asking my permission or informing me what they were going to do, she was rude and obviously having a bad day which I got the brunt of, as has been pointed out to me by numerous people what she did was assault, I made a complaint as I was shaken at the experience and wouldn’t want anybody else to have to go through, and she lied about it saying she had asked my permission, at the time she said some people don’t want to know what is happening so she made a judgement not to tell me what was going on, i personally don’t think she should make that judgement without seeking my personal wishes on how I wish to be informed. hopefully she will grow from the experience as she hasn’t long qualified but I will never return here, I have since found an amazing dentist who has rectified the issues caused and is extremely professional and understanding! I don’t know about other dentists within this practice as I only had this one person but I believe from what I hear and read the other dentists are fantastic and it was just this one. When I said in my complaint I would write a review stating I was unhappy they threatened me with legal action. I was very shook up and upset after the experience and left the surgery in tears I have since had extensive root canal treatment elsewhere and couldn’t be happier with treatment. Thankfully my new dentist has helped me build trust again and has taken the time to reassure me.
Have recently moved back into the area , saw the sign on the end of the building, made enquiries about registering got told there was a queue to register, why have the sign up if they're not taking on new patients !!
I am utterly terrified from the Dentist but todays experience changed all that! The Dentist was lovely and really reassuring. The receptionist was also fantastic aswell!! Thank you all so much & see you soon!
10/10 A fantastic dentist with the kindest staff. Always make you at ease and the work they carry out is a very high standard.
I want today dragging my feet , as have had an exposed nerve and abscess for months , Daniel was amazing , and I told him so
From the commencment of tretment with the lovely dentist Alana everthing went smoothly they explained every stage of my tretment in detail and treated me with the utmost care and consideration.The friendly staff on reception are very accomodating when helping me juggle appointments with my work very pleasing and professional excllent dental practice
Total faith in this practice. Would not go anywhere else.
