Came here for my birthday meal. They had decorated the table without even being asked which was a lovely touch. The staff were an absolute delight and helped make the night. They recommended a great wine which we loved so much, I'll be buying a bottle when we get home! The food was superb, so tasty and generous portions too. This place is just a joy. Beautiful setting, cost ambience, fab staff and excellent, reasonably priced food. What more could you want? Perfect!
Hearty three course dinner served up in a traditional pub setting. Fantastic across the board; great food, great service, great atmosphere. Just what you need this winter.
Had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Sunday. Food was gorgeous, plenty to choose from for a variety of palettes, wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff. Particularly the landlord who had an excellent sense of humour! Would highly recommend coming here. The roast looked divine so we will be returning in the future for a roast dinner!
A wonderful restaurant and pub. Friendly, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere for family and/or friends. We will definitely be returning. They have a kids main menu and Sunday menu making it perfect for children of all ages too. They even decorated our table with confetti, balloons and birthday banners to mark the celebratory lunch we were having.
My wife took me for a surprise meal for my birthday. Jonathon and Ronnie were most welcoming. The food was outstanding with a lovely atmosphere. No shortage of personal touches for the occasion including banners on our table and candles in the pud!!! Would thoroughly recommend.

This is one of the best places I've eaten in a long time. Went there for Sunday lunch and we returned last night. There are 9 of us on holiday and we all agreed. Jonathan is a lovely guy, full of humour. Ronnie makes you feel at home with a warm welcome. Dinner last night was unanimously declared by us - brilliant!
Lovely place to eat, wonderful food, nice atmosphere, good hosts. Just one thing to suggest it might be a good idea to not have 'Alexa' in the dining area where other diners can & did choose their own music & volume which was very disrespectful on their part. I would visit again though as that does not take away the fact that the food was delicious.
Had the most delicious lunch, confit of duck followed by a gorgeous cheesecake. Ronnie and Jonathan are the loveliest friendly and welcoming hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We sat by the fire in the beautifully decorated room and it was a really enjoyable experience, the best we’ve had in any pub!
What a wonderful find. Lovely pub where though its busy you don't feel crowded. Food was amazing! All of it tasted perfect - thank you Jake. Serving staff were fabulous. Will definitely be back.
