Lovely pub run by a nice bunch of people. Serves good food as well as drinks. Has two pool tables, a skittles alley and a darts board.
I wanted to wet my whistle at 2 on Saturday but sadly they don't open til 4 now this day. Still, the owner is so friendly, great range of beer and snacks and pool, lovely dog and friendly atmosphere. Top banana pub! Recommended to visit :
A busy place for locals when it eventually opens - this is not an all day every day pub. For ale drinkers, the options are limited Butcombe or Doom bar - neither of these on my top 20 list, but both were in good condition and deserving of the Cask Marque accreditation earned.
Just had a traditional Sunday lunch, freshly cooked and well presented. I had tender thick slices of roast beef, the pork was also a hit . They also offer gluten free gravy & yorkshire puddings so a very happy son. Friendly staff and reasonable price.
Getting back to be a real pub. Lovely welcome. Bar staff and landlord always welcoming and happy to chat and be friendly. Food is amazing. Beer is cheap. Love it here.
Amazing pub, with a great landlord. We used the function room for our wedding reception and honestly could not recommend it enough. Fab place.
I'd like to inform anyone looking at the negative reviews to my pub. Over the last 48 hrs I've received a number of negative reviews. All because a certain group of individuals being barred for illegal activities. I as a license holder have a duty of care to my patrons and have to abide by the laws of this country, the police have been informed about this harassment and are dealing with it presently.

Just had the pleasure of eating a Sunday lunch and highly recommend; I often frequent this pub and it is very welcoming and friendly with great food and brilliant customer service.
