Feel so privileged that my dog Lola was treated by Brad. What an amazing vet. So thorough, wonderfully sweet with my dog and excellent at what he does. He fixed her front leg very intricately with metal plates after she was hit by a car and I feel so indebted to him. What a wonderful practise too. The staff were so welcoming and kind. All in all a very positive experience.
Folly Garden Vets are the best. I fully 100% recommend them. The staff are professional and friendly. I couldn't wish for better. They have a calming effect on both your pet and owner. Thank you so very much.
I definitely would not use this vets again and do not recommend anyone else use it either. I brought my cat in here on Friday 14th June and we were told she had a 'mass' which was probably cancerous and would neither get better or be something they could treat. One week on and after some antibiotics they sent us home with begrudgingly my beautiful girl is absolutely fine. She is back to normal! So thank you for almost ending the life of my perfectly healthy cat as well as giving us a whole week of agonising over when we were going to have to make the most difficult decision a pet owner can possibly make.
Never thought I'd be writing a bad review about Folly, but we took a cat up with something funky going on with her eye. Vets suggested that they did a CT Scan and indicated that there was some sort of mass or tumor that would likely require the cat to be euthanized within the next week. One week later - and the cat's eye is better and she's completely back to normal. Looks like no euthanasia was ever needed! Insignificant but relevant: I also have no evidence that a CT Scan was ever done, as we weren't shown it's results. It was on the itemised invoice, however. Not sure what went wrong here, but all I'll say is that if you're unsure about what these vets have told you, get a second opinion from a vet outside of the Folly franchise. Won't be going back to this branch. That said - never had an issue with Bishops Cleeve's branch or Bath Road, Cheltenham's branch.
Very polite and efficient response in a worrying situation with our dog. Left the surgery feeling we were in good hands with the procedure for the future treatment. Excellent vet.
Lovely people, really helpful and friendly. Extremely empathetic to our situation and very good at explaining what will need to happen next. Highly recommend.
The past year we've had a lot of health issues with both our dogs. One had cancer and bladder stones and the other ivdd. Every vet and every receptionist we've seen have always been so kind and clearly care about the animals they see. They will juggle stuff round to get your pet seen if they feel they need seeing sooner which is really appreciated I trust then completely with my dogs
Once again, I have had excellent service from Folly Gardens Walton Cardiff surgery. When I contacted them because my dog was taken ill after Christmas, were seen very quickly and received thorough, expert, clearly-explained and kind care from the vet.
Very quick to get me in and all staff were kind and friendly. Vet explained everything really well and was very happy with everything.
Wonderful veterinary clinic. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and caring towards our pet. We trust them to provide the best care for our furry boy and every aspect of treatment is explained in full. Could not imagine using any other clinic.
