Have eaten here several times over the past few years and it never disappoints. Ate here again last Wednesday and as per usual the food was great and the prices are good, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely
This was an incidental find on my travels. I haven’t had my regular cuisine while being away and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant in Camarthen. Oh WOW, I was moved by the hospitality, the service the food absolutely BELLISSIMO. I wanted fish I got a whale. I was so full my mouth is just popping from the flavours. If you are looking for a find this is it. I had to make space for pudding OBVIOUSLY
My family and I had a fantastic time at Florentino's in Carmarthen. The food was absolutely excellent, and we particularly loved the relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere. Being able to sit at a table on the grass with our dog was a real highlight.nTo start, we shared the homemade bread and olives, which was fresh and absolutely delicious. For our mains, the pizza was lovely—thin, crispy, and full of flavour. The tiramisu for dessert was truly amazing and the perfect end to our meal.nThe only strange part of our visit was the music. It was blasting quite loudly and, being played on Spotify, kept shuffling to Christmas songs in the middle of August. It made for a very surreal soundtrack to an otherwise wonderful meal!nDespite the music, we had a brilliant time and would highly recommend Florentino's for its excellent food and lovely setting.
What a lovely restaurant. The steak was amazing fillet, got to be honest, I couldn't eat it all, it was huge. I didn't need the knife that was provided, I could have managed with a spoon the service was beyond what I expected. I ventured upstairs and found the most amazing seating area. If ever I want to book somewhere for a wedding or special occasion, this is the venue I would choose. Had an amazing meal here on a Sunday night with a friend and I am sure we will be talking about it for some time, can't wait for my next visit.
Lovely quaint place are stairs for upstairs seating so if limited mobility specify downstairs. Is limited in space also so squeeze in ha ha. Food lovely had the pork with mushrooms. All other food looked delish and were cleared by my family. Only note the peach marscapone desert wasn't as I expected and was a disappointment. Tasty but cold overtly sweet and not decadent and rich. Recommend the restaurant.
