Visited today with our toddler and had a great day! Limited opening due to the season but for us, it was just enough - with a toddler you feel the pressure to do too much because of admission prices but with the half term offer on tickets, today was ideal and worth the money. We enjoyed the zoo animals and a few rides in muddy duck farm and the dino area. We also ate lunch at The Coach House; it felt a bit pricey for pub food but we actually really enjoyed it and felt the portion sizes were reflective of the price tag. The park itself is looking quite tired, hence my 4 stars, but overall we had a great day and our little one loved it.
Haven’t been here in years but my son wanted to go for his birthday. Very busy before it even opened we set off early to get there in time. As you’d expect most of the stalls were closed at 10 no sign of them opening. The zoo portion of the park was great we got to see a lot of different animals which both my kids loved. Rides were pretty decent one of them had a wait till of an hour which was to be expected as I think it’s the most popular one. The only downside to the park is the food. When we went looking we found that there was an arcade with very little choice but fish and chips. For a resort I thought it was a joke. We ended up in a pub in the end because it was the only place we could find. Very shocking. Then my son wanted an ice cream and the wait was horrendous he wanted a normal 99 ice cream and the woman told us at the last minute the machine is broken after waiting 10 minutes to get served. Came away very disappointed. I won’t be going again in a hurry.
Had a brilliant time with my group. The only I would complain that the white train wasn't working and I was looking forward to go on it. The funny bit is that Flamingo Land should get renamed Peacock Land because there's lots of peacocks loose around the park and zoo. I would definitely come back very soon. Plus most of the food kiosks were shut and I was disappointed with it.
I didn't enjoy it, I found parts looking very tired and lacking atmosphere.nDespite it being half term, only a couple of places to eat were open, this was disappointing, especially since the website states there are lots.nThe ride queue times were short.nDisappointingly the park rides shut at 4pm due to lighting levels. The rides started to shut at 3:40pm.nIt is very expensive, costing over £200 for the 4 of us.nHowever my children said they had a good day and that is all that matters.
Brilliant family day out , however there isn't many rides for little ones under 3ft to go on. The roller coasters are great especially sik and velocity , however would stay away from hero as its very rough . The zoo part is really Good , was great seeing the lions and tigers feeding times - wanted to see the sea lion show but the seals had other ideas so it was cancelled. The only negative was how expensive things were cost £9 for 3 soft drinks so I'd definitely recommend taking a packed lunch with you.
