Fantastic sports bar in Whitley Bay. Good selection of beers and LOADS of screens. Visited hoping to watch F1 qualifying, but walked in to find tennis on all the screens understandably - it was a Wimbledon semi. The chap behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful - put F1 on a couple of the screens for me and turned the sound up so I could hear. Great little place
Nice sports bar, great selection of drinks. They have comfy seating and a pool table in the back. Tried a few cocktails as well but I was pretty drunk by that point so cannot comment on how good they were. The perfect place to catch up with friends and spend the evening.
Parking not great, they gave us wrong room to start with but soon changed it. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Tv didn't work, dirty soaps left in shower. Bed was comfy. Could do with a lift to upper floors. If u have a lot of luggage. Shame, u couldn't turn lights off in corridor. Cos of gaps around the doors, the room was so bright on the night. We put bags on floor near door to keep light out.
Stopped at the hotel next door nice sports bar staff were very friendly you get discount on drinks if you stay at hotel,they didn't do food when we were there but they did say they were happy for us to bring food in if we wanted.
Lovely warm rustic pub first time I've been in and definitely would go back it's dog friendly which is great after a long stroll along the seafront - would recommend and will be back soon
Friendly place, staff welcomming, seemed to be televisions everywhere, too many for me but had a good night
What a nice little bar staff so friendly and helpful
Was able to take our dogs in here so we were very pleased with that. The staff were really nice and the bar and toilets are very clean.
Friendly staff. Well priced.
