Tom was recommended to me by a number of people who have recently seen him for Physiotherapy services. He is a very personable guy and has been exceptional in a number of areas, including his professionalism, understanding and diagnosis of my knee problem and approach to rehabilitation, be it treatment during the sessions or exercises to do in my own time. He clearly explains his approach and the tests he is undertaking and has been utilising the latest technology to help with his diagnosis and identification of an appropriate treatment plan. I received some MRI results which made very little sense to me. I emailed them to Tom the night before our 9am consultation. He interpreted the results and explained them to me in simple terms the next morning, ensuring that I completely understood what they meant. I always receive a follow-up report reiterating the key points we have discussed and he is always accessible outside our sessions and encourages me to communicate with him via email to let him know how I am progressing and ask any questions I may have. Unlike other physiotherapists I have seen, Tom doesn’t clock-watch during the appointment. I never feel rushed and always come away from the consultation armed with the information I need and confident that the advice I’m given will help me get back to playing sport as soon as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Tom based on my own personal experience.
I have twin Achillies problems, one's acute the other chronic - lucky me! Tom has explained the damage and given me some nasty but effective exercises to strengthen my weak areas - I am pleased to say after 4 weeks I am now walking pain free . . . . The effectiveness of the exercises is reviewed by Tom regularly and tweaked when necessary. So far so good, I won't be skipping literally for a few more weeks, but Tom has given me the confidence that I will be able to skip, run and jump again!! Next on the list for mending is my rotator cuff!
Went to Tom with back and right shoulder issues and tight hamstrings. Tom was very thorough with his examination and after treatment l felt much better. This was my second appointment and would certainly recommend Tom.
Went to see a chiropractor after having had a bad back for nearly 4 months. Absolutely no help whatsoever. I was recommended Tom by someone who had a very bad neck and she was able to move it freely after seeing Tom. I therefore booked in and was so very pleasantly surprised and happy with the relief and pain almost gone. Booked my husband in for his bad neck. Even he was pleasantly surprised at how he could move his neck after a session with Tom. We both returned a week later for another session and very happy with the results. I would HIGHLY recommend Tom and would definitely go back again should the need arise. He found knots in my husband he didn’t know were there. A lovely young man and really cares about getting his patients fixed. Thanks Tom Sharon and H.
Tom was absolutely brilliant with my 12 year old son. The service, from initial enquiry through to aftercare was exceptional. He was professional, but also friendly, engaging with my son as well as myself. He gave confidence in his knowledge, but also did extra research after our appointment and sent further information to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
I am incredibly thankful for Tom Steadman and the help he has provided me. With his expertise in sports rehabilitation, he was able to provide much-needed relief from chronic neck, back and Achilles pain that had been plaguing me for years. His skillful techniques have healed my body with remarkable results - now I can move gracefully without any agony! It's truly amazing what a genius on this field of work is capable of doing...
I have had pain in my glute for several years and have previously had all sorts of physio and massage which did help reduce the discomfort for a while but never fully and never for very long. I have recently seen Tom twice for treatment and the pain and discomfort has now significantly reduced particularly after the initial session. I have found Tom very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Tom
I contacted Tom after my 10 year old son complained of back pain. Tom took plenty of time to talk to my son about the pain and what activities he likes doing. The treatment was thorough and well explained, plus we've had a follow up email summary with additional exercises. Thanks Tom!
I had an ongoing Hamstring problem. Been to see other physiotherapists who couldn’t resolve the issue. The progress I have made with Tom has been phenomenal. Very detailed and thorough plan set out to assure a perfect recovery - highly recommended.
Excellent physio session with Tom. He ran several tests to diagnose the condition and explained everything to me. He administered some therapy and sent me exercises to do at home, along with a thorough report on the session. He is very friendly, easy to communicate with I found the session with him extremely helpful, especially in educating me about how to deal with the issue.
