Fishers were excellent. We needed to rent a place for a year abroad. Several agents in town were not interested the hassle of dealing with people from overseas. But Fishers were happy to help us. At the start of our rental, move in day, the front door lock broke, on a Saturday no less. Fishers had the locksmith there right away. Likewise, during the year, they always communicated rapidly and solved problems efficiently. We would rent from them again anytime.
I was an overseas owner of a house in Harbourne. I acquired the property back in 1994. Fishers have been my agent for managing the letting and maintenance of my house until it was sold in last April. Fishers have provided me a total solution to my ownership for gaining stable income and arranging maintenance of the property. Their service was down to earth, prompt and hassle free. Their service has been up to every bit of their claim for providing professional service. They even provided me the assistance to solve the outstanding matters after the completion of the sale of my house. I greatly grateful for their service and wish there every success.
Highly recommend fishers letting agents. Family ran business feel and have gone above and beyond to help us with documentation we needed for our property. I have rented with fishers for a number of years snd they ensure their properties are well maintained and fairly priced.
Fisher's were appalling as letting agents from start to finish. GDPR breaches sending personal details in error, patronising and rude attitude and lied multiple times about how we would be reimbursed for costs, or issues in our house would be rectified only to say later down the line that they never said that or it couldn't happen. They're great at pitting tenant and landlord against each other to cover up their incompetence. Our living room flooded several times and Fishers did nothing - again, blaming the landlord and dodging any action leaving their to be damage to our possessions, and to the landlord's property. The check in process was awful - overspilling rubbish with rotting milk and no clean throughout - and check out was just as bad, with Fishers trying to claim for a professional clean at the end of tenancy despite the obvious hypocrisy of this. The housing market really does suck at the moment, so it's not always possible, but if you can AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
An absolute bunch of incompetent paper clip counters! Believe the negative rewiews they are absolutely factual. Ignore the auto ‘bot’ reply from the ‘Owner’ who hides away from responding to complaints by saying ‘no record of dealing with you’ it’s just more incompetence and lies. My rental was a few years ago. Nothing seems to have changed! A women called Lin or Lynne is incompetent beyond belief and blind as a bat accusing me of taking some rubbish tea and coffee tins!! Luckily the new tenants who also complained about their experience let me in the old rental flat and I photographed the ‘missing’ tins in the cupboard where they were never used. I informed Lin or Lynne to make an appointment at SpecSavers. Numerous requests to speak to the Owner were rebuffed with he’s away or he’s too busy!! Rubbish he just left his poorly informed and trained staff to deal with things!! Inventory’s aren’t updated for years they rely on you to note discrepancies. Make sure you do keep records and copies of emails. The DPS are almost as bad don’t rely on them for impartiality! Thank goodness I’m free from being a renter I feel for people having to deal with these useless people. Take heed stay away or if you can’t document and photograph everything Lyn or Lin has just improved on her incompetence over the years!! UPDATE following Bulls**T Response! The Owner at the time refused several requests for either a meet ot telephone call to adress the incompetance of Lin and the chaotic check out experience! The flat was left cleaner than when it was first occupied. False claims were made to extort funds from the Deposit which in part were refuted by the DPS. It is clear from recent reviews nothing has changed even with 'New Owner' as we say "same man /woman different hat". There is and has never been any misunderstanding or misrepresentation except from Fishers from their old outdated inventories to the claims of proffesionalism on the Web site.
Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional service I've experienced just today in regards to lettings I have enquired about and the arrangement of viewings. A Miss Lin Miles was extremely curt, rude, unprofessional and passive aggressive towards me in her emails. Refused to answer simple questions and refused to have just simply explained the situation properly from the beginning, forcing me to have a back and forth with her that could have been easily avoided if she was forthcoming in the beginning about a property she was contacting me about that had already been taken off the market. Refused to use proper and basic punctuation and email etiquette and addressed me in a lax and rude manner more befitting a friend than something you would expect to come from an estate agents administration. I would not recommend this service to anyone who is organised and merits professionalism in companies they interact with. Absolutely appalled simply doesn't cut how I feel. The viewing that I did have set up previously with this estate agents I had to cancel today in direct relation to how I was treated just this morning in regard to a separate property I had also enquired about from this company.

I rented an awful flat from Fishers, I was desperate as I was working for Queen Elizabeth Hospital and needed somewhere quick. The flat was very old fashioned and dated and in need of some serious renovation. I used to hate cooking in the kitchen as it was just old and nasty, I would often eat out or get a takeaway. The landlady would sometimes even let herself in! Anyway it took me months to get get my deposit back from Fishers and cost me money to do so. I would avoid this agent, they only seem to have old properties to rent and quite expensive too.
Hi, everyone. I want to share my experience with this company First of all, all the members working for this firm are highly professional and really know how to provide excellent customers services. They helped me to get the flat I wanted in a matter of a few days. And their after-sell services are fantastic. I want to really thank Isabella, who was very patient and helpful. She provided me with all details I wanted and helped me to close the deal. Also can't thank ms LIN enough, as she arranged the contract and all the paperwork for me to settle in. In a nutshell, everyone in this office is professional, and I highly recommend doing business with them.
I rented with Fishers and they were great from start to finish and, in particular, Lin Miles -who not only dealt with any issues promptly but was a thoroughly nice, trustworthy and professional person. If you are thinking of renting, please consider using Fishers as I can't recommend them highly enough.
