Went to see a concert in the Club Room. Very private and unique setting with just a few cabaret style tables, small stage in the front and bar at the back.nnBar had food and drink on waiter service basis. Camden Hells is an excellent local beer; the pizza is crisp, tasty and scrumptious. Very few bars served a Margherita cocktail with Tagine in the rim. This one does.nnWould happily go back again.
Love Picture House! But this place now sucks.nn£17ish for one ticket. 5 staff members kicking about in a filthy, empty cinema. Popcorn everywhere, etc. The staff member at the door looked at the ticket email and told you what floor the screen was on you can work that out from the signs.nnSprung for the large popcorn instead of the stuff my partner grabbed from Tesco. Holy hell, it was stale and tasteless. Opened the Tesco stuff after, way better. Staff member found a cup under the soda tap, glanced in it, threw out the dregs, and filled it up with our order nnIt's annoying. I love cinema. To justify the £35 + snacks for the night out, it needs to be decent.nnPicture House will later complain about cinema footfall declining as they have to close sites.nnGive us a reason not to watch Netflix.nnDo better Odeon upgrading all their sites makes it harder to justify coming here each time.
Great cinema with friendly staff and comfortable reclining seats. Screen one here is my favourite of all of the Picturehouse cinemas.nnI really appreciate that they show foreign films here and they have multiple captioned performances every week.nnThey have just launched a new live event space called the Club Room, where they offer table service and you can watch films or live performances such as comedy and music in cabaret-style seating.
apparently staff make customers get on the floor to clean up spills and assume you don't speak english? quite appalled to hear about this behaviour, so will be taking my family elsewhere for our movie nights. to anyone with young children - they also have users in their bathroom, so maybe pick a safer venue nearby less needles and hopefully better popcorn.
Very Happy with the experience- very clean and very well Looked after cinema right by the tube station of Finsbury Park. Loads of restaurants nearby- lovely options for snacks and drinks at the bar. Staff is really nice and friendly. 3£ Saturday morning session for kids of great - they do quiz night for REFUGE charity. I think this is the best in the area.
