Very busy but very efficient. Great choice of fish. first choice of Pollock was sold out however the Haddock was fantastic. Sometimes the batter can be greasy but this was spot on. Chips were perfect and the mushy peas so tasty. I will definately be going back when i am next in South Devon. Well done excellent food
We had fish and chips from here on the bank holiday weekend and WOW, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! My only criticism was I wish there was a tad more vinegar but never the less, we enjoyed them with gorgeous sea views and the sunshine on our faces.nThank you
Good fish and chips, best in town. But if visiting Devon and passing through Slapton Sands, go into the Start Bay fish and Chips Restaurant, ask for large cod and Chips....you will be amazed at quality and portion size, in a good way .
Chips cooked very well! The squid rings were very soft inside and very crispy outside, really nice and tasty I’ll be back to try the fish next time We were going for a take away & decided to dine in.nWine very cheap £5.75 per glass although the pot of tea for 2 people £6.30 a bit overpriced
When we walked in we were greeted and seated within seconds. Our server was new but incredibly friendly.nnWith our orders taken, the food was swiftly brought out. The chips were great, I'd have been happy to wait far longer given how good they were.nnFolks checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.nnAs we were on holiday we won't be able to pop in any time soon but in the last few weeks I have given more than a passing thought to driving two hours to get some chips!
