Friendly staff. All items on the menu are delicious. I personally love the jacket potatoes. Pay with cash. Highly recommended.
Lovely filled tuna sandwhich. Eggs not runny in baguette
Food is great, best baguettes in teignmouth . But customer service was not great. As there is pasta on the menu, I asked if they do plain pasta. Instead of just saying no sorry we can't do that, the woman serving was huffing and puffing , rolling her eyes and just being generally rude as if serving me was was inconvenience. I said don't worry if its a hassle, but they did have some plain pasta. Not sure what all the fuss was about just say yes or no if its too much trouble ? There's another lady that works here sometimes who is really polite and friendly. Just a shame this particular lady is letting them down with her attitude.
Great place to get yourself a fresh cooked baguette or sandwich. I always go for a bacon and egg baguette and it's always great! Don't listen to idiot David who claims they're rude and dismissive, I've been going here for over 8 years and they've always always been fantastic. Also anyone local would know that they've only ever excepted cash.
We had pork, stuffing and apple sauce baguettes today, with home made mushroom soup to follow. Great portions, really tasty.
I'm a local here and I decided to support a small local business so I went for a coffee here. Right away the service I received was rude and dismissive. The woman there didn't seem to want to serve us at all. I asked for two americanos and this woman rudely just asked if that's two dark coffees. I said yes. When she finally came out with the two coffees I extended my phone to pay and this woman rudely said: "It's cash only. All the locals know this." During COVID times I don't carry any cash on me and neither do most people. There were no signs anywhere that said this, and instead of explaining this politely to us, this woman was rude a belittled us. I hate to think how they would act towards people that are actual tourists here. I won't be going here again.
Just the best sausage and bacon baguette you can get locally, not sure what type of bacon they use but whatever it is it's truly the most tasty I've ever had
Had the chicken + pesto panini. Superb. Missus had been going on about " You must have something from Bocadillo" so it was a toss up between Le Cygne Dawlish . . The ban mi is exceptional or the panini. Nice to have a choice. I'd score it a 1 all draw! Well done To both. Note of caution re the ban mi. . Don't wear a light coloured jumper. . the sauce goes everywhere. The Panini is much more controllable.
The best sandwich. , baguette I ever had. Always fresh .... my favourite bacon and fried egg baguette. .. love it!!!!! Am regular customer perfect for lunch when you are busy working
This is the best sandwich shop ever I really would recommend there baguettes and sandwich my favourite is the chicken nay & salad which is fresh!
