Dropped my partner off the other day as we came up this way for a holiday and he wanted to go fishing and I joined him for an hour after a while. Beautiful scenery, everything well kept. The owner was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable & says it how it is which I love. Great prices, fish very healthy and partner proud he caught 2 x big ones, no idea about fish so not sure what they was. Recommended place and will be back in the near future. Thank you
Good fishing with 5 lakes of assorted fish. Owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a tackle shop on site, and a large camping and caravan area. I think it is necessary to book the camping, but fishing just turn up and money collected on the bank.Service: 5/5

Amazing campsite beautifully scenic and a great location. Everything was very clean and felt just as though I was at home. The owner Nikki was so so welcoming and kind during the stay. Heart warming campsite with great beaches a little drive away. Would recommend to anyone passing that way. P.s enjoy those chocolates

Lovely place, very friendly owner. Fishing ponds are small but packed with various species. The ponds and campsite are very clean. The log cabin is basic but for the price was more than enough for my groups needs thanks for a lovely bank holiday weekendRooms: 5/5
Lovely quite location. For those that enjoy fishing the site has lakes and a tackle shop. The facilities are basic but always available. Been here many times and can't wait to go back. Food & drinks: Horse and groom pub within walking distance. Lovely food and real ale.
We absolutely love it here. Nicki runs the site wonderfully. I have been a few times to fish with my dad the lakes are great and we also bring our dogs here to come camping for the weekend. The facilities are so well looked after. Always clean and you are never short of toilet roll so important for the campers
Lovely welcome by Ash and her owner Nicky! Facilities ideal, clean and great value for money for style of site I really liked the separate fisher person and campers units for this!! The dog walking field was of a rather good size and Henry loved it! This is a site that does what it says - gives you peace and quiet, nature, fishing and the sense of freedom - yep the A12 is close by but that did not upset our break at all the hum of traffic was either not audible or disappeared into the background. This short break was just what the doctor and half our group have actually booked for a return visit already - shift work has prevented us all from booking!
This is a very quiet peaceful site and It gave us the opportunity to get back to basics with our family and we enjoyed every minute. There are several fishing lakes which of course has great appeal to some people. We enjoyed walking the dog through the trail that has been marked out in the adjoining field. The manager was extremely accommodating and approachable. I loved this campsite, so much so I'm going back next week. **second visit was just as good as the first. We took the opportunity to fish on this occasion and the children enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to fish. We met the owner this time who was lovely, warm and welcoming. The toilet and shower facilities are basic but clean which is all that you really need. I'm now looking at booking our third visit this year.
