This restaurant was superb. The whiskey range is incredible and serves great local Scottish food. I even had a cider that was matured in whisky casks. The salmon was so popular that they even ran out. Would highly recommend.

Had the bagpipe haggis for starter ,followed by a lamb stew with red cabbage and mash potatoes. My wife had a steak with chips onion rings a black pudding and garlic butter sauce. We shared a pudding for dessert it was a like a ginger butterscotch thing with a whisky caramel sauce . Every little piece on my plate had been done with such finesse,love and care that it humbled me as a chef. It's a weird mix of emotion when you are so happy with the food yet so disappointed at oneself for lacking that skill and passion. Ask if George is cooking , if he is , do not pass up eating when he is in control of that kitchen. The dining area was cost and the wait staff were happy and quick in there feet . I wish there was an option to give this place 6 stars possibly the best meal I've had whilst traveling . Eat here please do it

Attentive staff, hot fresh food. Better than average local beer selection. Great specials menu. Careful to not miss this spot thinking it’s closed because the cafe to the right is closed. The restaurant has a separate entrance.

Be sure to book.if not...... get in the line to grab a table in the evening.Great food and service even though it is a real tourist hub on the west side of the Loch. It's also a whiskey drinkers dream come true.An A-z of whiskies from not just Scotland but all over the world.
