Fantastic. Will be back. Atmospheric charming beyond compare, the mist on the Loch, a guest bumped into a wild stag just in front of the Loch. Best scallops ever. Top chef, lovely menu, fresh roses on dining tables. All the magic you could,dream of. Like being g in Wuthering Heights. Can have lovely menu in bar as well, simple soup etc.

Four of us walked in, a member of staff walked passed and eyed us up and down then walked away. We stopped another member of staff that was about to walk passed us and asked if we could have a table for 4, the staff member with a snide look told us simply that there are no tables. We were dismayed at the attitude of the staff, if there are no tables they could at least offer that we have a drink at the bar and wait or some sort of standard restaurant etiquette procedure. Place did not look overcrowded and staff were certainly not in a hurry. No excuse for such lack of service.

Quaint and peaceful with good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are lovely. Staff are very helpful. Will visit many more times I'm sure.

the best food I've ever had in Britain. No exaggeration. stunning view, really friendly staff. unforgettable food!!!!!!
