Worked with Kare plus for a couple of months now, it’s a good company to work for and can be quite flexible. You can pick and choose your shifts and there’s always someone on the phone if you need any help.

An awful company to deal with. If you care for your family members, do not put their ‘care’ in the hands of this company. The issues stem through from the management; there are a few staff members that have gone above and beyond in caring for my father, who sadly passed away from MND in December. Some staff members have even checked in with me since, to make sure our family were doing OK given the circumstances. The manager, Dr Louise May, is unbelievably rude and should not be working in the care industry. Not once did we even have contact from the manager to send condolences, despite knowing my father was EOL. It is all about profit sadly, and the clients fall second to that. She even turned up at my parent’s house and provoke a row in front of my father, when he was so unwell that the stress made him even worse! We had carers turning up, not being briefed that my father had motor neurone disease, and were completely ill-equipped to care for somebody with such a debilitating disease. I am in the process of escalating my complaint further. Sadly you hear about stories like this in the news and hear about mistreatment of family members at the hands of ‘carers’, and we have now seen this firsthand. Having to consider putting cameras in your house to keep an eye on carers, and make sure your family member is safe, speaks volumes. Even in my father’s final days of life, carers were sat on their phones, playing about on Snapchat at my father’s bedside, and then leaving sneaking out of the house early from their night shifts, thinking we didn’t see what was going on! It’s very sad that it has come to this. But I cannot praise highly enough a select few carers that really went above and beyond and genuinely CARED. Those carers know who they are.
Kare Plus Wirral have always been extremely reliable, professional and person centred with their outstanding approach. The quality of staff are fantastic. Well trained and punctual. Dr. Louise May in particular has such a personable approach, fully understanding my business needs and has assisted by managing the whole process efficiently. It is refreshing that a nursing/care agency has so much knowledge and understanding the care business. Moving forward I will now only use Kare Plus Wirral and foresee this being the case indefinitely. Thank you to you all the team at Kare Plus Wirral.

Plenty of work available But you are just a number. They like you until you are sick and need time off. I also find the staff in the office very abrupt and rude in their messages. Respect is earned in my eyes. Much better agencies out there.
