Really nice, clean, and spacious pub Service: 5/5
Vastly improved since the last time I was there, good for watching music, pity about few of the clientele that spoil it for the rest. Update: it's such a a pity that a few rule the place, spoils it for everyone else. Parking: Small space outside, 1hr street parking
A great location for any occasion. Situated next door to the Plaza Cinema Waterloo. The Ferndale Lodge also has available for hire a very large room which can accommodate any large celebration; parties, birthdays, group gatherings, weddings, christenings, etc. Whatever the occasion there is space enough for a large number of people. There is also a bar in the hall, with many large round tables each seating approx 10 people. There is room for music and dancing, and or use the space to serve foods whilst you party the night away.
Saw Chris Hockenhull perform a great selection of songs in The Ferndale.
Cold Sunday 11:00 am function room mid January. No heating whatsoever. Outside wás cold inside felt no better. Bar serving cold drinks. No facility for hot tea/coffee etc. Potential for a nice function room but would certainly not be booking it until comfort of customers was addressed
Had a lovely evening in the function room..clean an tidy..barmaids were fab.
Excellent venue for parties or dance classes, plenty of space
Had a meeting in the empty pub. 50 +of us..drinking... They turned the music on half way through the meeting. Very rude. Needless to say we are now taking our custom ELSEWHERE and be letting other people know
Been a customer here for 2 years now and I love this pub. Amazing bar staff and friendly atmosphere. Wouldn't drink anywhere else
Adequate function room, visited on a cold day and this was evident by the lack of any form of heating inside. Reasonably priced drinks
