We have been with the surgery for over 20 years. The staff can be firm but still friendly. Always willing to help. The Doctors are also friendly and helpful. We wouldn't go any where else. However because it's a lovely practice it's sometimes difficult to get an appointment.

Think the Doctors and the Nurses are very good, but reason for 3 stars is trying to get a appointment to start with! Ive found,if u dont ring before 815 u got no chance and i dont know why yu cant book a appointment in advance which can be very annoying. Other than that its a good doctors to go to.

Do any Doctors actually work at this Centre as my Mother like others have commented that they can never get an appointment and have not followed up from a hospital stay. It seems that they just want A&E to be used instead.

One of the reception desk employee was very rude and rasist with me! I've asked for a application form and she refused to give me one. How is that possible?!

I cant even!!! Awful system phone in system! They make it a competition so me and my other half's would all phone in bang on 8 to get me an appointment and even with 3 of us it can still take 40 minutes. Oh and the cheek of it when their phone lines are open at 10past!!!! Get your arses in gear! I feel like there were a couple of receptionists who never seem to care/more focused on acting like a dithering old lady and socialising... I have NEVER been able to get any prebooked appointment, they're always over a month away and importance doesn't matter. They leave no leeway for anything or anyone so of course they have no useful appointments. It doesn't matter what you phone in for of how serious it is, you WILL get the same response like you're a kid that got a scratch on their knee. They don't care when you've been calling for a week during your work hours because you start at 5am. They can't compensate for a range of people.. I don't know about everyone else but just the whole appointment ordeal and getting rejected makes me feel like crap anyway. If no one cares why bother, and I'm not wasting a whole day of my life in A&E when I have work to do. But what really makes me feel worthless, or at least tries, is that one doctor... and he thinks he's so right esoecially when it's comes to vaginas and women's health. YOU DON'T HAVE A VAGINA, DON'T ACT LIKE YOU'RE AN EXPERT ON WHAT I FEEL! I will not forget how he told me I was wrong, so arrogant! He is so rude! So sarcastic. He makes me feel so uncomfortable that when they only had a phone appointment and it happened to be him, I couldn't even speak.. I needed help and all I got was him. So I hung up and told the receptionist "I don't like him, I've had enough, I'm changing surgery." There are a couple of nice Lady nurses and everyone else doesn't really have the time for you but at least you can ask them questions and not have it thrown back in your face like a certain doctor. If you barely ever go to the doctors: still try to avoid this one because you'll be disappointed That one time you need and you still won't get an appointment. Why bother I say.
