Blunt, inconsiderate and no patient welfare No answer of the phone since 0800 it’s now 1350 Half an hour on hold in queue position one Doctor wanted to discuss blood test results back in December with me - 4 weeks ago!, when I last spoke to someone the fact I work full time and they cannot designate a time for the call except from the fact that it could be between 8-6 it was my fault for my availability issues, laughable! Finally managed to book an appointment on the phone for a week today - What is going on with the surgeries
Just called 67 times to make an appointment will advise on one register there for the doctors and still can't get thew on the phone good job it not for one of my kids
I have recently moved to favell Plus surgery the Receptionist are very helpful and friendly it is very easy to make appointment if needed and the Receptionist are very quick at answering the telephone I am very happy with favell plus surgery after being with park avenue medical centre for 18 years
Impossible to reach reception through calling lines. No matter what time you call in the day. I can understand it being busy as soon as they open up but it’s ridiculous how difficult it is. I’ve aimed to contact but by email as I called perhaps a 100 times in total and still no response.
REGISTER ELSEWHERE! I only gave this 1 star because I can't give a 0 star rating. The medical staff have so far been fine. But that's only evident if you're able to get through to anyone to book and see/speak to any of the medical staff. I have been trying to speak to someone since Tuesday it is now Friday. Their phone lines either ring constantly and eventually drop off, or you will get "line busy". This morning alone I called 150 times before I managed to speak to anyone, I had been calling non-stop since 8am. I wish I was exaggerating. When you do, finally, after several days of trying, get through to a receptionist, don't expect a genuine apology or a sincere experience. At best, you will be fobbed off with "we're just really busy at the moment." I asked what to do in the event I needed an urgent appointment but not urgent enough to warrant a call to 111 or 999. The receptionist advised I call further in advance. So there it is, in order to be registered with this GP practice, you need to have the ability to predict yoir future illnesses. If you don't have that, this surgery is no good for you.
I wish to thank Dr G Takla for the awesome, first class service he has given to myself and my husband when we have visited the surgery with sensitive issues and a myriad of cases. He so committed to to delivering an extraordinary service to his patients, always bearing in mind the best welfare and outlook for the individual. He is always pleasant , polite, respectful and a good listener and also encouraging. I love his ethics that not in every situation tablets are the best answer, as I have followed his advise and benefited from this. Recently I've suffered 2 bereavements I really felt at a loss, but Dr Takla gave me such great support and guidance and helped me through a turbulence time. I am grateful to him and the practice for the wonderful service they provide in difficult and pressurised environment. Thank you
I have never in my 28 years of living experienced such incompetency like I have with this surgery. I would advise any newcomers to stay away from this surgery if they want any help at all. They don't communicate at all and aren't anything but bad excuses and asks for call backs to chase up on their own mistakes. IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT YOUR AND YOUR LOVED ONES HEALTH STAY AWAY AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.......
I have recently registered with this practice and words cannot describe how overwhelmed I am by how understanding and thoughtful my new doctor is. He has done more for me than any other and takes time to listen to your problems. The receptionists are very polite and helpful. And I've no problems I'm making appointments. I highly recommend Favell Plus Surgery, you're made to feel very welcome.

On Monday January 11 my son got through to the surgery at 8am .I kept getting my calls knocked off or put down on me .I was very ill .I emailed needing medical advice for asthma . Tuesday an admin worker rang me in A and E .as I fought to breathe .told me I had been passed to covid hub on waterside .which is better for me they decided ,which is over £20 a time in taxi fares .Nitpicking details of my email . Told me I'm glad you are in A and E they will sort you out .no humanity to the distress trauma and fear caused to me and my family .I had been outside A and E in an ambulance for over. 4 hours . Terrible surgery with no humanity ,my complaint is still outstanding . People do not matter to them
