I considered and received quotes from four agents before choosing Farndell to sell my house. What stood out was John's detailed knowledge of the local property market, honesty and wealth of experience. He clearly explained the costs involved and how he would market the property. We received three offers following the first weekend of viewings and accepted an offer at asking price. The whole process from initial meeting to completion took three months, during this time John and Sue were always available to resolve any problems and help with any questions I had. I cannot recommend Farndell Estate Agents enough.
We recently sold and bought through Farndell Estate agents. John Farndell himself came out and valued our house, and again with the photographer to put the house on the market. John and his team have been extremely helpful, and friendly. Katie and Sue were fantastic at organising the viewings on our sale. John attended himself on our viewing of the property we purchased and even came and saw us on completion. I would highly recommend John Farndell and his team. Through this pandemic we have wanted to support small and local businesses wherever we can.
John and the team helped us sell our home. They were very professional and friendly and were at the end of the phone if we needed any help or advice with the selling process. When our first buyers fell through they were on the case and got it sold again within a week. A special thanks to Sue who kept us updated as soon as there was any news
Our property was up for sale with Farndells for around 12 weeks and throughout that time we didn’t have much interest on our property. Communication isn’t great, Sometimes they would go as long as a week after a viewing without contacting us with feedback, so we were always chasing them up. They took quite a while putting boards up and were generally a bit slack. We were told we were being unreasonable for not accepting offers way below the asking price, despite John stating we would have no trouble getting the asking price at our valuation. So we swapped estate agents, within 2 weeks with our new agent we have accepted an offer for the asking price. Obviously this is just our experience with Farndells and everyone’s is different, we just personally wouldn’t recommend.
My family and I rent thru Farndells and when we lost all heating and hot water they had a plumber out and all fixed in lightening time. What's different about Farndells? They care... They listen... They do exactly what is needed and more.
We have been so happy with Farndell's service from start to finish. They have been brilliant at keeping us informed and offering advice where needed. The entire team are friendly, professional and most importantly honest! We have dealt with many estate agents over the last couple of years and can safely say that Farndell are the best. Farndell are not your typical estate agent but for all of the right reasons! Thank you so much for all of your help.
Had to be threatened with legal action to get the lack of hot water fixed. Massively overcharge for any 'repairs' when you leave
Brilliant estate agent. Always kept in touch and updated us with proceedings. Easy to contact and friendly team. Alex was very informative and gave us lots of helpful advice. We were very pleased we chose Farndell estate agents to sell our property. Thoroughly recommend them!
