Elegant cafe at the heart of Haddington. Vintage decoration that brings you back to the rustic British countryside, with pendulum clocks, analogical meteo stations and elaborated desk lamps. Nice array of Central European pies and usual Brunch dishes. It has some tables on the street.
Excellent staff and customer service all around! Arrived an hour too early for lunch service, very attentive staff member checked with chef if Schnitzel can be served early. Fab and tasty food just like homemade in Germany. Highly recommend.
What a lovely welcoming place. Had really good cheese and ham sandwich, they'd been so busy they ran out of croissantsserved with wee salad. Beautiful ham and tasty cheese and pot of tea. Cakes to die for, certainly be back
Great service and delicious food. Not a lot of vegan or in my case dairy free but I had the chicken and avocado rosti which was amazing. Very good fries too! Others had eggs florentine and frankfurters which looked great. We took out cakes for dessert which were gorgeous. I opted for the carrot and walnut cake which is dairy free and could have had a vegan chocolate cake too. Other cake/dessert options look fantastic. They also offer milk alternatives for hot drinks.
Amazing cake and the coffee was perfect. Will definitely be back and can highly recommend as also pooch friendly! Just perfect!
