Pleasant atmosphere with original antique furnishings. One of East Lothians best eateries. A high standard of freshly made pastries and cakes and light meals. Excellent coffee, thoroughly recommend the German meatloaf and the bacon rolls.

My Grandad was German and would have loved all the fabulous bakery, everything I've tried so far has been top quality and very tasty. Would have liked/expected the premises to be bigger, not just in respect to the seating area but more with the amount of space for all the delicious foods. Peace 🖖

Great lunch, lovely staff and wonderful selection of good teas. My favourite is white tea with pomegranate. We also pop in for coffee and cake when we're in Haddington. Well worth a try when out and about in the town. You'll not be disappointed.

Brilliant! A German cafe, with ace coffee and food. Top class decor, great staff. Went with friends for breakfast. Had the eggs benedict, superb. Other meals were good, too.

Not cheap, but it's very nice food in a lovely atmosphere.
