Been here twice on the last two Sundays, first on my own ,then with friends.we eat out all the time I'm no expert but do have thirty year's experience in the trade.These people are doing it right.Pub,clean and warm, beer, spot on,food very good,not run of the mill veg something different done well.prices(The Big One) spot on.These people aren't being greedy.grt along and try it worth every penny.

Disappointed, got to say, looked at the reviews and thought we would give it a go. Went on a Wednesday night and ordered ciabatta garlic bread starter (was not ciabatta but a normal frozen French stick) that had not seen an oven just a grill. Looking past it we went for the the specials, mixed grill at £17.95 and surf & turf at £13.95, the mixed grill was ok, no sausage so was expecting a replacement but did not get a substitute, the surf and turf was poor, medium rare was rare and the scampi was what you could buy any where, the food was not warm. Overall, a nice environment and lovely staff, let down by a lazy thinking chef! (Found out the head chef was not working). A lovely pub and lovely staff apart from Emma who completely argued every point above (why?), with a lovely environmental and atmosphere, could do better with the food.

11 of us turned up on our bikes at lunchtime & all enjoyed an excellent meal & warm welcome. It was the summer holidays & children ate for free which an added bonus. Would recommend & hope to return again soon.
