Love love love this little shop. Is an Aladdins cave for every child. Plenty of toys to choose from. Friendly helpfull staff. The prices are very reasonable.
Such a gem. Cant believe we're been here for ages and this is the first time i'm in. HUGE selection. Every kids and mums dream. Ill start saving up.
We come to Muswell Hill every so often and often pop into the toy shop to by something small. I understand it’s an independent shop hence the prices are higher than what we get online. However we will no longer be spending our hard earned money here after being followed around the shop - was made to feel like I was going to steal something! Really sad and shocked to be writing this in this day and age that such discrimination exists! The shop had few shoppers in, but we were the only non white going to be customers, but I was made to feel really uncomfortable as the lady “tidied up” around us in order to keep an eye! How rude and unnecessary! Such a shame as I will be sharing this with all my friends/teachers that live in this area that probably frequent the shop! Well done to you as you are killing your business without the rise of online shoppers if this is your attitude! Also agree with other reviews - smiling wouldn’t go amiss!
I’m writing in response to the daft review that has been written below as I do not have the option to comment on it. I work in this shop and was here today when this particular customer came in with her children. I’m offended by the accusations and slander written against myself and my colleagues, and would rather this lady came and spoke to the manager instead of writing this nonsense online. First of all the lady that has been accused of following the customer in question was actually tidying up, as this customers children were acting unruly in the shop and pulling everything off the shelves. So she was tidying up after them. But most importantly of all, I will not stand for us being accused of being racists. My daughter is mixed race, and a very much valued member of staff here is mixed race too. We value all our customers and their children.
Unfortunately, this feels like another reason for the mass exodus of consumers from the highstreet in favour of online. Vastly overpriced store, to the point that RRP's had store price stickers covering them with their own stickers, often much higher. The shop almost has too much stock, it becomes busy even with only a few people in. Clutter is a word which very nicely describes Fagin's. It's a real shame as this was my local toy shop when I was growing up in the 80's/90's, when it used to be called Galt Toys. If you're in a hurry and need a toy, or want to experience an actual toy shop, I suppose you could do worse, but please note: phone reception is available in-store. Check your prices before visiting the checkout!
Great shop with a fantastic selection. Good for gifts. I remember going in when I was younger and having a fun time too. Lots of fun little toys and gadgets too.
Friendly local toy shop with a wide range of toys. Great for small items for pocket money spending or for party bags too!
We visit this shop 2-3 times every month. The shop is so nice but we wish they didn't have such grumpy staff that never smile, even to children...
Fantastic local Toy Shop. Small but well stocked. Friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely shop with a huge selection of toys, games, puzzles, craft things and much more.
