Most amazing toy shop in the Hampstead area. The owner genuinely cares to help. Amazing choice of products and such a kind, pleasant, friendly atmosphere for adults and kids. A kid's dreamland and a level of service unmatched for parents. Happy Returns are absolutely the best!
We've been there the first time when my older son was 2. Now, 14 years later we are still happy to drop in chatting with the same manager - purchasing some tokens of memory.
The lady working there is so rude! The sign on the door said open, so naturally I amongst other people went in. We all proceeded to get shouted at by the lady working there. After I left she still hadn’t changed the sign so continued shouting at people?
Most amazing toy store I’ve been to, maybe most amazing store full stop. The owner and her daughter went out of their way to help make the most appropriate purchase. I felt they genuinely care about the customer. So patient, so kind and so unusual. I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else for toys or children’s gifts. They have an incredible selection of it all and everything seems so reasonably priced.
Lots of choice but very overpriced, clearly there’s a big mark up for the Hampstead elite! Asked for a price for a small bath toy and the woman quickly said £10 and they’re £6-£8 elsewhere.
My go to for gifts for younger family members. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a unique and thoughtful gift. Staff friendly, helpful and understanding, don't listen to other comments saying the opposite been going here for what I think is over 15 years.
This toy store has the worst customer service. I don't know but the black lady working here is miserable and made snide comments about the children in the store in front of them and the parents. Please don't work in a toy store if you hate children. All the kids did was touch the figures and she didn't like it and told them not to touch it if they are not buying it. I was contemplating on buying one but didn't as she made a nasty comment about the kids touching the toys and rolling her eyes. I wouldn't buy from this place because of her attitude. Its not friendly for children.
Fantastic and lovely service. Includes delivery in NW3 and going the extra mile we'd just had our second daughter and the balloons that were included in the delivery as a surprise have been a massive hit with our first! Great selection and a very personalised experience. Highly recommend!
Sadly this otherwise decent shop is ENORMOUSLY OVERPRICED. Duplo zoo that is £45 with John Lewis on sale here for £94… Sylvanian elephant family £12 with JL £17.99 here… while some of the staff are lovely there is a core two who are unfriendly. We have stopped shopping here due to the higher prices.
Very bad experience. It was not the first time, that I've been there : I bought a couple of Teddy bears. But today, when I was living the store one of the employee ask me to come in front of her and remove my mask, for after told me very aggressive : "I told you to never come back". I was surprised and let her know that I don't understand because I did nothing wrong. She don't try to apologise and told me to leave. I don't recommend this shop for how they treat their customers.
