I highly recommend this shop. i have shopped here several times now and have always been offered tea and coffee as well as expert advice. My little boy was even made a ramp for the toy cars he had bought with him so I could shop in peace! There is a wonderful selection of fabrics, traditional and quirky, something for every taste.

I can't rate this business highly enough. Fantastic fabrics set out in styles and colour schemes making it easier to choose combinations. I have attended workshops which have been lots of fun and very educational. I am a bit of a beginner, but always leave feeling like I can set my hand to any design; mostly due to the teaching skills of the business owner, Helen Chapman. If you are just starting out or have been working with fabrics for many years I would definitely suggest visiting the Fabric Shack. You will be met with a pleasant smile, helpful suggestions (if required) and a great choice of fabrics, threads and almost anything else you need - even if it isn't in stock on the day. There's also the chance of a cuppa...seriously, pay a visit. You won't be disappointed.
