Do not use this jewelers - I do not want to even leave one star. I got a ring for my 50th Birthday and two stones fell out within two weeks, they ordered a replacement straight away which I collected 4 days later, which was excellent and I went away a very happy customer, Two and a half weeks later I knocked it on a plastic toilet seat, I looked at the ring to check as I was being very careful with it, I noticed that another stone had come out of the setting which I did manage to find.. I took it back to the shop and explained what happened, they examined the ring and were very apologetic and said I could swap it or they would replace it again, I started looking at other rings but when I asked if I could have my money back if I could not find one, they said No, They said that they would have to send it back to their repairs department to inspect and It was their decision if I could have a refund. I was not happy as the replacement ring was only 2.5 weeks old so I asked to speak to the Manager who just said that was the policy, so I could replace/swap it or they would send it away. He also said as it was not meant to be worn everyday, he also said since I had admitted damaging the ring, he did not have to do anything because the original purchase was over 30 days ago. When i said that I had collected a brand new replacement 2.5 weeks ago, he then said that the staff should not have replaced it. and it was obviously done as a good will gesture. Although the words that the manager was speaking were "polite" he was arrogant, rude and had no empathy at all. My friend who was with me then asked if we could have the ring Independently assessed, as this was the second time it had happened, she also asked how could we trust what the the repair department decided if you (the manager) tell them that I had damaged the ring. The manager was then very angry and aggressive, said that he was retracting the offer of replace/ swap the ring because of what my friend said. I told him that the contact was with me and not my friend, he said that she should not have said it and that was that , my only option now was to send it back to their repair department to see if they would authorise a refund. I was very upset and said that the thought customer service was awful - he then said "you're not doing yourself any favors" twice loudly, which made me more upset, so i walked out of the shop to calm down. My friend continued with the returns procedure with him. after about 4 minutes, I went back into the shop and just took my ring and walked away. I have since had the ring repaired and they said that they could not find any damage, and in fact laughed when I said that the manager had told me that it should not be worn every day, and suggested I go back and ask what days i was allowed to wear it!

Dishonest staff. A watch was on sale for £55, asked to have a link taken out. Nasty little git took the battery out and claimed it was faulty and couldn't sell - they'd put it in under the wrong price tag. Spoke to the manager and they still refused to honour the advertised price. Disgraceful.

BEWARE please do not buy anything from this store! My wife brought a watch for my birthday which became faulty after six weeks. We decided to return it back to the store and spoke to a disgusting man who was supposedly the manager of the Crawley branch who bluntly refused to take any responsibility and told us"it's your problem". I spoke to their head office and explained our awful experience at the Crawley store but they were equally as bad. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
