Happy Customers! We found bikes online so we just went to the shop to order them and get everything sorted. Staff was really helpful. We said that we are going on holiday in a few days and we will be able to collect bikes after holiday. They sorted everything before our holiday so we didn't have to wait for them. Thank you guys we love our bikes!
An excellent bike shop with approachable, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I’ve always shopped in Evans for shoes, helmets, puncture repair kits etc. After a cycling accident had written off my old bike I’ve now purchased a new one from Evans. Understandably I was nervous and Mark talked me through different bikes, ordered in a couple off their site for me to look at and even gave me genuine encouragement to continue riding, left me feeling relaxed and confident to get on my new bike. Any nervous bike-owner I usually find this very intimidating as I’m not a gear head or gear head will love this shop and the staff, they are really generous with their time, which is hard to find these days in retail, helping and advising you, despite it clearly being a busy shop. My past bike services have always been done promptly and communication is good, a big thank you to Mark and the staff for everything. In a nutshell I would highly recommend Evans Cycles in Liverpool to anyone.
Really Helpful and friendly staff. I didn't want the first bike I ordered but was able to change with no hassle at all. Really fast service from order to delivery at the shop, lots of good advice and cool stock. Will be visiting Evans in Liverpool again!
Trek Marlin 5 -I LOVE MY BIKE. Bought this bike in July just before the Monsoon started!. I chose the bike after my own research. I found the staff extremely helpful and detected no patronising attitudes to my obvious ignorance. The staff were kind & helpful apart from one miserable guy who, I am ashamed to say, was a Scouser. I added several upgrades &, again, the staff were extremely helpful and price matched my requests, saving me a few bob. I enjoy the new bike very much although, as much as possible, I avoid the roads as too dangerous. The only negative is that the bike is really heavy but I can only blame myself as I did not request advice. I strongly recommend Evans Cycles and the helpful staff, especially Chris, Bobby and Louis. I have confidence that when I have my annual service they will treat me in the same professional manner.
Knowledgable and always helpful staff. Bought a couple bikes online from Evans recently and got them delivered to this store. Communication was always good and collection was seamless. Been in a few times since and have nothing but good things to say.
I've stopped in a few times over the past months for various reasons and had great service. For one instance I had a flat tire after work, I stopped in and even though they were busy with other repairs and closing in 30 minutes they squeezed me in for a quick inner tube replacement. Another time I replaced both the tires on my bike. The next day I had a flat and brought it back in, they apologized, took responsibility and replaced the flat free of charge. Nice people working and great service
Well let me star . Had my bike in for a full strip down and new parts put on. what an exceptional job as it was faultless. the service quality was amazing and the staff were extra helpful with all the tasks i gave them. I'm so made up with my bike now. and totally reassured that I no they are there for me if i have and more questions for them. such an ama team of people all friendly and helpful
What disastrous customer service and poor staffing. Three people only in store in City Centre Liverpool Store at lunchtime! I waited most of my lunch hour to try an dget served, Not one person even bothered, One assistant remained in the service area, two stayed on the till. I was not the only frustrated customer. I wanted to buy a road bike for a lady and needed advice and support. I made a special trip to this store thinking I might get it on the day with price/advice. No such luck, this shopping experience was rubbish. Hooray for the independent shops and long may they last,....or anyone who understands "customer service". Liverpool
Just got my bike back from the workshop at Liverpool Evans and am made up. Wasn’t sure what the problem was with it but the staff there were very helpful and gave some realistic advice on my options for my bike. Friendly team and non-judgemental people. I would recommend Liverpool Evans to anyone with bike problems. Thank you so so much all the team there at the workshop!
Went to the shop today to try and buy a bike on the ride to work scheme. The customer service was utterly dreadful. The assistant was reluctant to unlock bikes so I could sit in, offered no help or useful advice, started a conversation with someone else....... The icing on the cake was when I asked him how much I would end up paying by using the scheme. He said he didn’t know and would have to do the maths! I asked him to ‘do the maths then’ and he couldn’t. When I was leaving the shop, I noticed that the bike labels had the discounted price. I made a point of telling him that this should have been known. He didn’t give a damn. Anyway, sod the scheme - went straight to Halfords and their customer service was brilliant - new bike later this week. Evans cycles - you just lost a decent order.!
