Good service in general. The thing that lets Europcar down is the deposit refund....9 days since returning the car I have still not received it and am anxious that I will not get it and will have to resort to legal measures to get the refund. I was sent a request for feedback from them BEFORE I have got the refund! Hence I have given 1 star....how can they expect good feedback when they still have my money!

Long story cut short,we hired a 22plate car for a few days away,couldn't go anywhere in it when we got away,not a problem we walked most places,however coming home was a scary experience as the car wouldn't go into gear and wouldn't move from roundabouts,junctions etc I had inc myself 2 other adults and 1 child that I was responsible of in that car,only done 130miles there and back,was pleased to take it back,I explained what happened,they apologised and said it will go into the workshop,iv waited a couple of weeks to give this review after the manager rang me and said the car has been in the workshop and the clutch was faulty and rectified,I was hoping at least some sort of reimbursement would of been made,no we paid the full amount

I hired a car for a month in total from the Darlington branch. The staff were very helpful especially Michael who let me have the car a few more hours from Wednesday at 4pm to Thursday at 9am. I would totally recommend Europcar. I was charged nearly half the cost that Enterprise would have charged for the same length of time.

Our Son and Grandson were going to Manchester to a concert and to visit Old Trafford as part of a Xmas present from my wife and I.When we arrived at Europe Car we could not see the car we had booked,a staff member told us the booking in my wife's name was for March and not February, nothing we could do we thought but the chap dealing with us stated that they would cancel the March booking and provide a Tesla electric car,wow problem solved it cost a little extra but hey ho.Paperwork was completed and our son and grandson had a great time, job done Thankyou Europcar Darlington.

I had a great experience renting a car here. My interactions with Ken and Michael were helpful and incredibly smooth. The car itself was perfect and I had no problems at all for the duration of my trip. Would definitely use again and recommend. Thanks!

Abysmal "customer service" teams on their contact numbers. Branch staff seem fine but can't understand why paying for a van is an option on the website if they can't guarantee the van is actually available and then quote twenty days to refund the money.
